“Being from NYC, I'm always a bit skeptical about getting my food from anywhere other than Brooklyn or Queens. I was very happy to find this place. The interior design, the food, the service and the nice soca music were all very pleasing. When your kids actually finish ALL the food, you know it's good. The only thing I would say is that you should get there early because we were quite disappointed to know that a few things were already finished when we got there around 3:30‐ 3:45pm.”

“Went to the new Canastas Chicken Midlothian today. Holy cow! Highly recommended. I got the 1/4 white meat chicken and it was flavorful and very juicy. My son got the Canastas burger and it was delicious. All the sides were on-point as well. Friendly and attentive staff. Loons like this is the fourth location in RVA. This place is gonna give Chicken Fiesta (whom I’ll still patronize) some serious competition!”

“I stopped in here because my wife and kids are dessert nuts, I havd never been a big dessert person but that quickly changed after i left Manga's. The cupcakes and cookies are out of this world! And Jeaketa is incredibly friendly. I told her my daughter has a birthday coming up and she took time out her busy day to explain all the things she could do for me. The food was ready on time and even though a taco was missing (I found out when I got back home), I called and the manager apologized, refunded me the taco, and sent me an email for a free taco! “Change lanes and choose Canes! Stopped in for lunch with 2 kids on a Monday afternoon. We were immediately greeted upon entering the establishment and able to place our orders. We opted for the box combos that include fries and a drink along with 4 strips of chicken. After filling our sodas and selecting a seat in the dining area our name was called to pick up our hot fresh chicken. As you can see from my pictures the food arrived hot and tasted fresh and delicious. We waited for a long time for Raising Canes to come to the area and they did not disappoint.”

“Great evening out with my wife and kids to officially end the summer break before school starts next week. We opted for the Hull Street location as staff has always been friendly and helpful in the past. Wide variety of choices to select from. My wife and I opted for a two scoop, while my daughter elected to go for three flavors and my son taking the hot fudge Sunday route. I selected key lime pie and my all time favorite graham central station… The key lime pie was on point and tasted just like the dessert. If you have not tried graham central station you have been missing out. There are crushed up graham crackers (picture almost like cookie dough pieces) that are a treat for the tastebuds. On busy nights there is a line but staff make quick work to ensure that all have their selections in a timely manner. There is also a rewards program that is available to join that provides discounts and ice cream on your birthday. Outdoor patio with umbrellas to keep you shaded or share a treat with your k9 companions. Sidewalk chalk is also available for the kids to make designs.”

“Incredible chips and salsa! I love their Mexican Flag burrito with ground beef. My husband gets the same burrito with chicken and it’s tasty too. The ambiance is incredible and you’ll want to walk around and look at all the artwork. We had fun playing pool and the bar set up looked good although we weren’t drinking. My kids love that they can color on the tablecloth and the kids menu has a good amount of options!”

“So glad there is a Chopt in Midlothian now, instead of having to wait until I'm near willow lawn. Ordered for lunch and the portions are great and their bowls are amazing. “Lovely little local coffee spot. I went on a "date" with my daughter, so we had the luxury of carefree timelessness. The menu has a lot of great options, but not so many as to overwhelm. The prices are very reasonable and we were served pretty quickly. It probably took 10 minutes or so for my latte and a scone to be served, which worked well with us because we were hanging out in the couch gathering area reading a book together. I loved knowing I was in my neighborhood coffee joint and that I could pop over next door to grab another used book 📚”

“Amazing burgers! Make sure to ask for them "Luther style!" That means that they put your smash burger between two freshly glazed donuts. This place has several dessert options as well a few smash burger options. They have milkshakes and ice cream, too. There is adequate seating and some outside seats as well. There are two bathrooms available in the back to wash your hands from the sticky donuts.”
