“we ordered silpancho and it took about 35 minutes for it to come. when it did come, it was cold. we asked for two waters, we never got them. we were five total, and when the waitress only gave us three utensils and two plates. the music was so loud i couldn’t hear myself talk. there were so many flies everywhere... we were inside for crying out loud! but the food was good so i guess that’s what counts.”

“Outstanding sushi, best in the area. Great service, fairly stark environs in a small unassuming space. They know what they are doing.”

“Great place, good food and the for a Spanish establishment the staff spoke English which is appreciated. Prices were reasonable. Clean, TINY restaurant though. Be advised that seating is for only about 20 people. Small space. Be advised there is no parking. Building is on a corner lot, at an intersection. You will have to park across the street and walk over. Wife and I enjoyed our time there”

“Roti was DELICIOUS! Sampled the Oxtails and it too was mouth watering. My first time eating here and it was worth the run around as directed by Google Maps. The place is clean, bright and cozy. You are greeted by a very pleasant staff and the wonderful sounds of reggae. Thank you Mon!”

“I really like the brisket here. I've eaten them all in RR and I'll tell you, it is done as good as any if not better. Try the 41... It isn't on the menu, but the chef has got you... I'm truly glad to get a great barbecue downtown. Awesome!!!”

“Best butcher and middle eastern treats and grocery. Kheder has been in the business along time and takes care of every single customer that comes into his store. A must try!!!”

“This is a very interesting place. First off there is security at the front door not to check id's but to pat you down. The place is very Hispanic which wouldn't have bothered me but the security guy made me think it was a rough place and it isn't. It's older and everyone seemed nice. The bartenders messed me and said they didn't know what a vodka diet coke was as I looked behind them and saw only tequila bottles. However the downside is that it cost $22 for two drinks which I do not think would have happened if I was a local.”

“Food here is good and the portions are fair for the price. Service is fast and the staff is friendly. The place is definitely cleaner than your average fast food place. The food quality is what you'd expect from Chipotle, again, much better than most fast food places.”

“The food was amazing and so is the service. The waiters and waitresses were extra nice and friendly. The food didn't take too long and flavors were just exuberant. The ambiance is just pleasing and great place for a date night. Will go back again!!”

“The restaurant has decent food like another Japanese restaurant. Then why do I give a five star? I lost an umbrella three months ago and could not find it anywhere. I happened to visit back this restaurant and was surprised that the sushi chef remembered me and gave my umbrella back to me. He said he had been waiting for me to come back to pick it up! For the attitude and care I received from the restaurant, it is a five star”

“Great service and fast. Got the drunken noodles and green curry, both really good but also spicier than I expected. I don't mind spice so I still enjoyed it, but my gf who can usually handle 2 spicy (which these were marked) could barely eat it. Just something to keep in mind! We also got the garlic lover lunch special which wasn't spicy and enjoyed it as well. Will hopefully be back again.”

“Great little local gem with great prices and quality pho. More than worth it if you're in the area”

“Came for the first time tonight with some friends, had a great time. The staff was fantastic, attentive, and accommodating- we arrived pretty close to the 10pm cut-off for the full menu, but our server made sure that we were able to order all the food we needed before that cut-off (our orders were placed at about 9:55!). The fish and chips were amazing and made perfectly. The Guinness was poured perfectly. My only complaint would be that the martini I ordered tasted pretty diluted and therefore wasn't quite strong enough to be worth the $10 I paid for it, but I also didn't come to an Irish pub for the martinis. All in all had a fantastic time and will definitely be back.”

“Starting with the appetizer my friend ordered the fried Mac and cheese balls and he said they were so-so. Moving on to the entrees I got the steak. The steak was good and the coleslaw was amazing. My mom got the Peruvian chicken and we thought it was decent. The server was nice, but the music was very loud. Overall a good restaurant”

“Very good service, delicious food and a good atmosphere. Little pricey, but you get a decent amount if you know what to order. I'm not a lover of spice so mild was spicey for me. Even with that said I still enjoyed my crab legs.”

“The food was tasty. My server was wonderful, he checked on me the right amount of times. He got me a refill before I needed it and even boxed my leftovers for me. He also got me a large to go cup when I left. I had lunch by myself was treated quite well.”

“This is mostly everything I've ever wanted in a coffee bar. Only downsides:no couches or comfy seats. But really the biggest downsides was that the music was kind of bizarre. For such a cozy, cute place, they were playing 70s funk and disco? Hopefully next time I go back it'll better fit the ambiance, but over all really liked this place. Good wine and great happy hour!”

“I've worked within walking distance of this restaurant for the past few months, and I'm kicking myself for not having tried it sooner. I didn't want anything super complicated, so I ordered the seaside soft tacos with steak. It was absolutely amazing! Some of the best steak tacos I've ever had. Will definitely become a regular here.”

“What a cool local cafe, much needed in the neighborhood. I love the lack of laptops. Breakfast/brunch is delicious--the spinach-egg sandwich and pancakes especially. Fantastic coffee and cappuccino, and the croissants are top notch. Kid friendly, though it does get crowded if you get there later.”

“After living in Seoul for two years - I fell in love with Korean food. Got Tang E is a no frills feast. Their panjan and mains are incredible. I highly recommend you give them a try. You won't regret a visit, and you will never go to another Korean restaurant, at least when in the Arlington area.”

“Com Tam Saigon has been at Eden Center for many years, pretty much since the opening of Saigon West wing. They seem to do brisk business with carryout and catering orders. We ventured here for a late lunch in January. It's a small space with a lot of the work overflow spilling onto some of the tables. A man was wrapping banh chung for Tet, but we were able to sit at a small table by the window. It helps to speak Vietnamese, but you can get by with pointing out what you want. The restaurant has a small dry erase board with their specialties. Since "rice" is in their name, you can't go wrong with ordering "Com Tam Saigon", which is listed as #1. The dish includes broken jasmine rice (com tam), shredded pork (bi), grilled marinated pork chop (thit nuong), steamed pork quiche (cha), a fried egg, and Chinese sausage (lap suong). The dish is a generous size and comes with a small bowl of broth with cilantro to enjoy after your meal. It was truly delicious and the pork was tender and had a bit of char. Use the fish sauce (nuoc mam) and mix it into your rice and bi. There are condiments to doctor the fish sauce to your preferred level of heat. CASH ONLY! The com tam is $9/each including tax. Most places in Eden Center charge $8.50-99. Considering the egg is usually a $1 surcharge at other places, it ends up being the same amount you would spend anyway with tax.”
