“We had heard good things about this restaurant from locals, so we decided to try it out. Ordered a whiting and a shrimp basket, both fried. We also tried the house-made honey garlic sauce. Absolutely excellent. The seafood was wonderful! Perfectly fried and really, really good. We are picky about seafood and Backstreet Crabs is absolutely our favorite local seafood place now! So happy to have this new business in town. We will definitely be back.”

“Shuffleboard at the height of a pool table, giant Connect Four, supergiant Battleship, checkers, hot and packaged coffee, all sorts of local peanut products, craft beers and non-alcoholic craft beers, good food and delicious ice cream, and gifts that could please even the person who has everything. “We thought we would try the buffet food was being heated by tea candles the little tiny candles you get like 50 in a bag. So you know the food wasn't hot like it should be. Iced tea was really sweet even after eating apple cobbler the tea was still sweet. The food could have been a lot hotter crab cakes were cold broccoli was cold mashed potatoes was cold chicken was cold squash was cold. Once they get their buffet heated the food will be good then have much fish to choose from.”

“Wish I could give 5 stars. The food was great, although it took 45 minutes to get it. The tables were left with plates , utensils and everything else after people got up and left. Waiters walked by, even the manager walked by a table that was not bussed for at least 25 minutes while we waited for food. People had to ask the table to be cleaned before they could sit down. Yes it was busy, but come on. This ain’t rocket surgery.”

Working in the area, trying different places. Very clean. I have to wonder why the chef's didn't have masks on. Overall I'd give this place a 92 out of 100. You may need to advertise more.
