“The appeal of a sushi buffet is certainly nice, but what isn’t very nice is the consistency of the quality of sushi they put out. Sometimes you can get a roll and be pleasantly surprised with it, firm Rice, a tight roll, the fish/shrimp tastes good and the sauce is damn near perfect. Other times the roll is falling apart, barely holding it together. The innards taste off, as if they were prepared several hours early and are only now being served. I’d genuinely prefer the Sushi Bar at the local Kroger.”

“Good Vietnamese food place. Pho there is the best I've had in Richmond. It essentially has the same menu items as its sister restaurant near Glen side, except the Glen side one has some extras like Rainbow desert.Although the service is just OK, the price is very reasonable:I never spent more than $30 for my family of 4. Another thing I like about the restaurant is it is quite spacious. Unlike its sister restaurant, I never worry about kids run around and bumping into other people there.”

“Good food. We visit this place about once a year and usually always have the same feeling - good food but the prices don't match the portions. Today I had a half rack of ribs meal which came with 2 sides and a drink for $20. My wife got a pulled pork sandwich with 2 sides and a drink. Total cost was over $40. Yes it was all good, but not the best ever and not huge portions. Richmond has other BBQ places that I feel are just as good with better prices for the portions. None the less we will probably go again - about once a year. It's famous for the name not the amount of food you get.”

“This is authentic Korean food. It is not uncommon to find eateries within markets, in the Korean culture. This is not fine dining, but a quick and delicious place to grab lunch or dinner. Dumplings are not store bought and the food is cooked from scratch. The lady who works the counter is friendly and courteous. There may be a language barrier but realize this is not your neighborhood Kroger. There are pictures of the food items along with a menu. And even if the lady cannot explain the menu items, there are patrons who can assist. Coming from Baltimore where there are several Korean markets, I am happy that this market opened in Glen Allen. Along with the grocery market, there is a fresh seafood section, where you can buy fresh fish at great prices. Try it with an open mind and you will definately enjoy the experience.”

“Pho Thien Phat 2 is a branch of Pho Thien Phat which is originally Pho So 1 on Rigsby Rd. I came to Pho So 1 every weekend because I like their food. But the problem is it is always too crowded when many people want to eat there. When they open Pho Thien Phat 2, I always go to this new location because they have the same quality food but you can enjoy the food more with more space and less pressure in time.”

“I visited around 730 on a Friday night. We loved the holographic glitter floor. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. We both order pho and the portions were larger than every where else we have tried in Richmond for 9.50. They gave us a good amount of meat in the bowl and broth was almost to the brim. Though they were a little small on add-ins but it was about what we get at other places. They do make two people share one set of sides. 10/10”

“With all the restaurants I’ve been to or ordered from, this is the only one that has never been late or messed anything up. Drivers are always polite even at 2am when I order last minute. Food is always good and have the best deals. The other day I called in and they said it was an hour wait, I agreed and understood because it was a Saturday night and assumed they were busy. The delivery girl was at my door step 43 minutes from the time I placed the call (yes I checked the time). Incredible! When I’ve had a long day at work I know dominos is the one person I can rely on to get me my food not when they promise it, but usually before! Keep up the good work, I don’t know what it is but y’all are obviously doing something right!”

“Our server, Sanju, greeted and welcomed us very enthusiastically; I felt like I was a regular, even though I'd never been before. I was very impressed with the drink menu; in addition to having some entertaining flavor text, they also make it very clear exactly what is in each drink. I elected to imitate Genghis Khan for a night. The Drunken Mongol was a great cocktail; very strong, but well-balanced. I asked for my Mongolian Beef a bit spicy, which was perfect with a little of the sweet chili sauce. Sanju was very knowledgeable about the menu, and suggested dessert as well. The fried ice cream was delicious, and definitely enough to share. The ambient music was very much to my liking: a selection of popular songs, played in a classical style so as not to be too distracting. Overall, I was extremely pleased, and will definitely be returning.”

“Sonic makes for a great burger experience with only one catch....eat it while it's hot! Once it starts to cool it seems to lose its flavor. “Came here with my partner because I was craving a deep dish pizza. We could not have been happier, the pizza was fantastic. Perfectly baked crust, fresh ingredient, great proportions, and a pizza sauce that I'm in love with. Also tried the garlic bread sticks, and the fresh garlic hit is great. Curry fusion fries were not what I expected, but both of us loved them, they nailed the seasoning and flavor on a great French fry. Will definitely be going back.”
