Finishing it with crispy, dense pandan, chai pumpkin, and chestnut buttersquash donuts was the cherry on top. “This was my first trying out this food spot. All I can say this knock out any other Jamaican spot that i have tried. I ordered jerk chicken with rice and peas and plantains. The chicken was perfectly cooked, moist and fall-off-the-bone tender with just the right amount of spice from the savory jerk seasoning. The rice and peas provided a cool contrast to the heat. Service from the owner was friendly and attentive. Prices are very reasonable given the quality and portion sizes. We left satisfied and full. Onion & Peppers is a true gem. Highly recommended!”

“I specifically go to Mosaic’s Farmers Market on Sundays to get falafel from Blue Stone Kabob. *Chef’s Kiss* The food comes in easy to store pouches (fridge or freezer). I can microwave the falafel in the pouch after cutting a steam vent. Depending on the meal, I can split pouches into two separate portions. The chicken kabob was also very well seasoned and tender and juicy - even when I heated it up in the microwave. More than enough portion wise that I split it and can make 2 meals out of the pouches. I also get the Korma chickpeas as a side. These ready made meals are so easy to heat up during the busy work week and it’s so satisfying and delicious! I don’t feel like I’m eating at home, I feel like I’m in a restaurant! And try the white sauce - it delicious and goes well on the falafel (and many other foods!)”

“We went for my birthday and overall our experience was great! All the food was good except my dad's steak was overcooked slightly. Also my sister didn't care for the caramel toast and would have preferred the apple French toast. My salmon Caesar salad was amazing and fresh and the rest of the food was great! I tried the non dairy Mint shake and it is yummy, I just didn't like the coconut milk whipped cream. My friends work here too and I love that this silver diner employs young hard working people! They were pretty slow bringing all you can eat meat. They were super quick on grilling combo meats. The server grilled the meat for you on combos meats but not all you can eat meats. “This place is kind of a hidden gem. My wife and I stopped in to kill time while the kids were at a birthday party, and to our surprise it was tasting time! We enjoyed a very pleasant tasting experience. The staff were fun and knowledgeable. They also have a variety of beers, and you can join a club for either beer or wine. The inside space is nice and relaxed, and you can sip outside as well. They offer light food to go with your beer or wine as well. I recommend checking them out if you are in South Riding.”
