“*** update Holy cow, I went in here looking for a specific product which was Odin skull mead. They were out on the shelf, but the guys working went out of my way to make it up to me by letting me sample others. In doing so, they hunted through their shipment and found a fresh batch of what I was looking for. Great customer service and awesome selection. Free wine tastings on Saturday and what I believe to be the best international and local craft beer selection in the area help make this place great. Their wine selection is outstanding and definitely gives you options and some deals to make the trip worth while.”

“Amazing service and desserts were out of this world. We got the banana cream pie, deep fried snickers and ice cream funnel cake and it was all fantastic. My kids really enjoyed it. It's a super cute place and there are seating outside. Owner was super nice and we loved everything about it. If we're ever in Blacksburg, we'll definitely be back!”

“So grateful to have a sheetz in Blacksburg. The losers who have the audacity to complain about mobile pick up should be banned by society. Just go inside the store they have many helpful employees and even self check out if you don’t feel like interacting with a human. Good affordable food served quick. Tried the breakfast pizza this morning for 5 bucks cannot beat it. Thank you sheetz!”

“My husband, dog and I enjoyed an afternoon at Rising Silo Brewery and would definitely come back. Beautiful views and nice spread out tables so it was easy to bring our dog, Rascal. Rascal had such a good time in the sunshine! Very good soft pretzels and apple cider.”

“My fave is Coffeeholics! I've attended since freshman year. Simply the best in Blacksburg! The atmosphere, drinks, food, and pastries and sweets are amazing. New and exciting things are always available. Every time I go, I wonder what they have. Coffeeholics, keep going strong!”

“We really enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service! We ordered couple dishes! Since I can’t eat avocado they gave me a tray of salsa all of them were very good! I ordered falafel tacos but without the mushrooms (I am allergic) so it looks different but they were really good! My husband ordered arroz chaufa. Flavor reminded him of home (he’s hispanic though not Venezuelan). The corns we shared were really good! Please go and support our new restaurant in town!! It is Fun and nice place to be! Reasonable price and good food :)”

“The carbonara pizza was very tasty, kinda wish I got the other version as the meat made it a bit salty. My partner got the pasta with sausage and it tasted great! I’ve had their carbonara pasta at the farmers market, and it is absolutely delicious. I plan on going there at least once, maybe twice a month!”

“The negative, waitress was not very timely and put someone else’s drink on our check. The good: she was friendly and tried, but for the price of the cocktails and food expected more. Food was very good, falafel was tasty, could use a little more tzatziki sauce, bourbon pear was excellent, filet was cooked perfect and really good. Jack fruit was a nice vegetarian small plate as well. Cocktails are so very good, by far some of the best I have had. Both bourbon drinks were fantastic.”

“Awesome place!! We came here for a Friday night drinks and food. I have to say, their menu is diverse and has a great range of prices. Everything looked sooo good as it was being run by the servers. We got the Classic and Faculty Street burgers and they were extremely good burgers! The medium well was cooked perfectly, the medium one was a little over cooked BUT the taste definitely made up for it. The ambience is really nice with people from all ages. Our server was super kind and checked on us regularly, and the food was served quickly (within 15m). It is my first bar & grill to try in Blacksburg and it is highly recommended.”

“The atmosphere is so calming and lovely. Jazz music welcomes you into the cool and spacious dining room with lovely artsy light fixtures and a concrete speckled floor. The food came out quickly, and the ramen was pretty good! The wings were the real draw. Absolutely delicious, large and cooked to perfection. I had a great time, and the ambiance would be perfect for a quiet, intimate and fancier date for two ♥️ They have raised seating that's removed and more private as well. Also they have a bar and a long happy hour, so it's also good for some peaceful classy drinks alone.”

“We ate at The Corner at Clay Street on Mother's Day. The meal was delicious. I like that the restaurant has a limited amount of tables (not terribly crowded) and the staff is very attentive. We made reservations for the meal, were seated right at our time, and our drink orders were taken immediately. I enjoyed the shrimp and grits (one of my favorite dishes wherever I go and this did not disappoint). My husband and daughter ordered the chicken and waffles. My daughter is a picky eater but liked her meal (first time trying chicken with syrup and now she is a fan). A nice touch for Mother's Day-every mother received a rose and chocolate truffle. My husband and I are planning to return to the restaurant one evening for date night.”

“We were visiting family for Christmas and the Inn turned out to be the perfect solution. We had space to spread out, we had other family stay with us and our dogs were happy. We are already planning to stay there again in the summer. The beds were very comfy, breakfast was lovely. And the codes made coming in and out so easy - no sharing keys. We did not hear one peep from the others staying there. Hotels are fine but when you have a family group and everyone sleeps on different schedules, and there are kids and pets, having separate bedrooms just really makes the trip so much more pleasant.”

“Awesome addition to this side of the Blacksburg area. The menu has most of the traditional Mexican favorites, and there are interesting drinks for both and kids. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. The patio had a nice view, and there's copious inside seating if that's your thing. The building is a converted school, which is like a time machine back to the 1980s. Overall, a good experience.”
