“Tonight was our first night having dinner at Peyton's place. It was great! We got a chance to speak with the owner and told him how satisfied we were and that our meal was delicious, I had ordered the catfish dinner, my husband had country fried steak and my daughter had fish and chips. Everything was cooked to perfection and there was even good size portions on our plate. The staff was very kind in our waitress friendly and helpful. I definitely give this place 5 stars and we will definitely be back. What a great addition to Luray, finally an extremely great place to eat with friendly people. I definitely recommend you try this place out they serve breakfast lunch and dinner. They also do carry out.”

“We had a fantastic time visiting this restaurant and sitting at the back patio with our three dogs!! Our drinks were brought with three cups of whipped cream and treats for the pups. The patio was so beautiful and well shaded from the afternoon sun! We received excellent service and everyone in our party was content with our food and the atmosphere. I loved the fish and chips, the pasta salad was raved about, and the fries here are so perfect! This will definitely be a spot to return to in the future!!”

“Uncle Buck's was just what we wanted after paddling on the Shenandoah. My daughter wanted spaghetti and they had an all-you-can-eat spaghetti special. My wife and I wanted burgers and they have a nice variety. The cheese melt burger with caramelized onions on rye and onion rings really hit the spot. I was also tempted by the BLT and grilled cheese. Great place for people watching with large windows on the street. The servers were great, too.”

“Convenient, but this is the only Chinese option in town. East Wok was shut down for a few weeks, but is back open again (June 2019). Lunch buffet is a good value, but is also a popular lunch spot. Food is usually replenished about every 15-20 minutes. Seems to be a family business, so sometimes there is young children running around.”

Not only are these items delicious individually, but they're paired perfectly so taste buds can enjoy each flavor. LOVE the creaminess of the butter chicken. And the cauliflower / potato curry has a wonderful spicy kick I didn't expect. Also, it's a LOT of food. Very filling. Store is extremely clean and bright. Indian food is only available a few times each week. I hope the owners eventually open a whole restaurant! Excellent and highly recommended!!!”

“The atmosphere was homelike and welcoming. All of our food was cooked to order. We had breakfast. Among the 3 of us we enjoyed each item ordered: bacon was crisp, sausage was savory, French toast had enough batter with cinnamon but wasn't soggy and came with lots of butter and syrup on the side. I wasn't expecting to be asked for a review here during an overnight trip to visit our daughter, so I don't have any pictures of the food or restaurant. However, they raise peacocks. They are in a protected environment, but the public is allowed to visit them and can see them very clearly. I'm going to attach some pictures of the peacocks. They were definitely part of a very pleasant experience for us. Two of them were albinos.”

“First the positives: our server Vesta was easily one of the kindest waitresses we have had serve us. Never once felt rushed, and she just did the little things that make a good server great. We appreciated her greatly. The Nashville hot chicken was surprisingly tasty (we are patrons of Princes) for not being in Tennessee. The bad: The food isn't exceptional, however if you compare it to other national parks it is pretty good. Fries and brussel sprouts were cold when they arrived.”
