“I have been doing going to this Burger King. Some 40 years ago when it was first built. In my opinion, is the best Burger King I've ever gone to. The fried the burgers are always been the best I've ever had. When they claim charcoal burgers they really taste like charcoal. Right off the grill. “I've been stopping at this location on average twice a week on way to work for several years now. I NEVER had an issue with any of the employees. Each morning they greet me and always have my order ready for pick-up. I use the DD APP Order-on-the-go. Sure, there has been a couple of times where the app shows the order placed and receipt on the app shows the money was taken from my account however, the order never made it to the store. If the store does not see the order in their system then they cannot fulfill the order. As far as the store is concerned the order was not placed. It is no fault to the store. I re-order in the store then later I simply call the 1-800 DD APP number, explain the issue, the Rep correct's the error by refunding to my account and they give me a couple of free coffee's for my trouble. This location is always clean and the employees do a great job. I will say this....the best jelly filled donuts hands down!”

“I have NEVER had a better bowl of pho in my life than this place. I’ve been to a couple different places before but this hole in the wall restaurant is amazing. The waitress is really nice and the waiter is amazing and always jokes with my boyfriend and myself! I always get the #6 and have never had to add anything to it because it’s great without any help but tastes great with fish sauce and bean sprouts added too. This is our regular lunch break trip”

The top layer of the bread pudding was burned, black. I tasted a piece to make sure it wasn't a chocolate topping and it wasn't it was burned. I cut the top layer off and the bread pudding was good. “Great Location and good value. Hot breakfast and peasant front staff. Breakfast area is well stocked and well kept. Breakfast seating tables are few for the 8 am crowd. Suggest to eat at an off time. Rooms show that they have been updated and are clean. A remodeling is apparent, although keeping in mind it is an older property some room details are older show its wear such as cushion stains or loose fitting electrical outlet, worn screechy AC operating compressor. Hopefully they are still remodeling to finish the finer details and it will be a perfect mid tier hotel with all the advantages of a close location to the historic district and downtown Norfolk via tunnel.”

We got there just as he was locking up, but seeing the disappointment on my kids' faces, he reopened to give them their ice cream. The ice cream was delicious and he was so friendly and courteous.
