A friend brought me an empanada from here and I had to make the 30 minutes drive, the next day. . .on a lazy Saturday. . . to pick up some more. 😂 It’s mostly an Order to Go place but there are a a couple of tables for waiting or dining in, which we did. You can sense the anticipation of people coming in to pick up their orders. Staff were friendly and working hard! “I heard about Anita’s before, but never had chance to visit any of their locations around Northern Virginia. However, now when it’s only 5 minutes away from home, we had to give them a shot. Staff and food were great. I had my usual fajitas and my brother in law a burrito bowl and for appetizers, their Mexican style pizza. Everything was tasty and meat was cooked as expected. Nice place to have around for each time of the day!!”

“My family tried this place on a whim and had a great experience. Our waitress was very nice and service was quick. The manager made an effort to check in on us twice and make sure we were well taken care of. Our dishes were delicious and portions were very generous. The fried catfish came with 2 slabs of fish, fries, and salad which was great for the price. I had the devil shrimp and have no complaints. Oddly enough, the rice stole the show and it was quite fragrant and had a ton of flavor. The restaurant itself is very clean and newly constructed. TVs make it a good choice to catch local sports. We will be coming back again and hope to snag some of the other dishes as takeout as well.”

Initially disappointed with the beef radish soup substitution for 된장찌개 ($3 if you order), we found it to be a pleasant surprise after tasting it. For larger groups, consider getting two separate tables if you have four or more people; grilling for five on a single grill can be time-consuming. Despite this, our server was attentive and incredibly friendly, making the overall experience enjoyable.”

They offer a wide variety of ice cream flavors as well as sorbets, Italian ice and oat milk based vegan ice cream, all made fresh daily. Tried a hot fudge brownie made with the vegan cookies & cream ice cream and was pleasantly surprised by the large chunks of real Oreo in the ice cream which had a good flavor overall. The hot fudge sauce was rich and delicious and the brownie is thick and fudgy. Also sampled their salted caramel toffee crunch ice cream which was likewise delicious and studded with bits of toffee. Window service and outdoor tables only at this location. The wait was around 5 minutes from placing order to receiving both items. There is a reasonable amount of on-site parking in the plaza.”

On sesame italian bread. I asked for no lettuce The bacon cheddar cheeseburger came perfectly cooked. It’s rare to find chefs that always serve food I find perfectly cooked. I’m hoping the lobster steak special comes back next year. That was the #1 best food they’ve put out. You need to try this place!”

The presentation of the meal items was 5 star. The price was reasonable and, though small in size, the atmosphere and environment was quite inviting. The owner of the establishment was extremely knowledgeable and about as nice a person as you'd be lucky enough to ever meet. His labor and heart are truly dedicated to providing the best experience for his customers, and it was evident to me and my party. “Cozy little coffee shop located in downtown Occoquan. Coffee was quick and they had a lovely amount of flavors to chose from. I did not see the coffee flavors on the menu, but they do have a complete menu via QR code located on each table. Breakfast Flat bread was rock solid! Really good flavor and paired beautifully with the buffalo/hot sauce they provide. Cinnamon bun was very delicate and had, what tasted like, homemade or fresh made icing. Not so sweet, but a very even taste. There is a second story with compact seating. They run a smooth reservation system and check out is a breeze. Would recommend stopping by if in the area.”
