It's a sweet little country diner where you rub elbows with a cross section if the county. Farmers and lawyers, weekenders from the city and folks whose families have lived there since the American Revolution. Bold faced names and teachers, local govt officials, firemen, mechanics. Often you'll hear discussions of local issues of the day. Food is diner fare--sandwiches, fried shrimp platters, burgers. Great desserts, like cobblers and mile high layer cakes. Iced tea, sweet or unsweet. The owner-cook will come out of the kitchen to see how you liked a new special. This is a sincere place with friendly country manners.
