Was visiting from out of town and we asked local people where the best place to eat was and a lot said to go to bus and Ned's. The food was delicious but the service wasn't so good. We asked for the beef ribs and they where out and we where the first ones there when the doors opened. Set there for 40 minutes before we where called to get our food, and 4 other couples received there food before us and we where the first ones there. All n all a good place to eat!

I am not a big fan of BBQ or any pork related dish; however, I enjoyed their food. It takes a while until your order is ready, but hey, this is not fast food and it takes time. My BBQ sandwiches were amazing and tasted so good. I would definitely recommend this place for BBQ lovers.

This was our first time at buzz and Ned's. We live in Richmond, but everyone is always telling us this is the place to take folks from out of town. So we got our first visitor from out of state and we went. Let me tell you we and our visitor were fully impressed and full(in the stomach)! This place is great! We will surely come back often!

I know is a famous place, but I was expecting more. Baked beans has too much sugar. Didn't like pulled pork at all. Ribs are tasty. Cole slaw is great. Mac n cheese pretty decent, not like my homemade, but not out of the box. Sides too expensive for what you get. Limited seating inside and covered outside seating, but to go orders too so should be fine. Not modern building don't expect new. Parking next to facility at least until business next door is back up and running. Street parking but a busy street with minimal parking for area. Staff at counter helped but could tell she didn't have greatest skill in not showing irritation with new diner who had questions.

I ordered the slider meal so I could sample all of the meats. You get pork BBQ, chicken BBQ and beef brisket. The brisket was tender and lean; the chicken was more chunked then pulled, but the flavor was great and it was tender; pork BBQ was great, very lean, no fat or gristle to be found. Good portion sizes. My group tried a variety of sides. The collards (or country greens) were simple and good, but I feel like they were lacking something. I also think they need to chop the leaves down a bit more. The French fries (hand cut) were well seasoned and cooked to perfection. They also offer sweet potato fries, very good as well. The baked beans were good. We also had potato salad and the baked apples. Neither stood out as a repeat. The inside is small but a very nice atmosphere. The outside picnic style area is completely covered and the tables could sit a large group. Staff was friendly and I would definitely go back.
