“A cute cafe with great service! You're greeted with a warm smile when you first walk in, and you leave having been well-fed with delicious, unique dishes. The menu is small, but brings a wide variety of creative dishes. I've only been once, but my husband frequents this place for lunch. Enjoy!”

“Good NY style pizza. Big slices. Good variety to the menu. Nunnie's is a house favorite. Haven't tried the subs but the choices look good. Nice guys as well.”

“This was a unique and intimate restaurant. I'll be honest, the food took me by surprise. Everything was gluten free which is great because I'm celiac. This meant I could share (and steal) everything with the table and eat with confidence. The Chicken Enchiladas had a lot of flavor and crunch to it. Chicken and Pork Pupusa's were a hand held delight. Chicken and Pork Tamales were crumbly (had to eat with a fork)and delicious. The chips and salsa were fresh and delicious. Three sauces available ranging from medium to spicy hot. Indoor and outdoor seating.”

“Excellent Mexican joint! Great food that has intense fresh flavor. The only negative was that the waitresses kind of pretended like we didn't exist... They were more concerned with the male only patrons instead of a small family of 3. Other than that, we will definitely go back!”

“Food changes daily, but there are standards like chicken salad (very good) which runs out frequently because of its popularity. Small, clean and priced right for the average person. Environmentally conscience with paper straws. One can ask for take out wrapped in tin foil or wax paper, plus you can bring your own container if desired. Be sure to check out this little gem in Staunton for lunch. You won't regret it. Cash only!”

“Work at one of the local hospitals and order delivery from them often. Consistently good food. Decided to leave a review today when a staff member went out of his way to call me to confirm my order because it was not what I usually get. Friendly staff, quick delivery. Would recommend ordering lunch from them any day.”

“Such a great little pub! This side of town really benefits from Bedlam. I don't like beer but think their beer isn't too shabby! Everything on the menu is rock solid. The pizza is good, the pub food is good, salads are fresh and tasty. They always have good great specials. I love that the owner is always around helping serve people, helping staff, and just in general, making this place feel so welcoming. Great little pub.”

“Fantastic restaurant! Farm to table with everything fresh and delicious. We had a four course "Chef's Tasting Menu" which was superbly prepared with exceptional presentation and most importantly every bite delicious. The restaurant is clean, comfortable and we'll decorated. The Service was exceptional, thank you Gretchen. Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed.”

“Nice place but I was a little disappointed in the paella. It was more Mediterranean and I love Spanish paella. But it was tasty and sharable. Drinks were good.”

“Emilio's outstanding trait is consistency. Their various sauces are wonderful and servers are knowledgable about the menu items. They are always willing to talk with the chefs about special requests and we have never been turned down yet. The restaurant is nicely arranged and decorated. Even the hostess adds a plus to the dining experience.”

“We went on Thursday, which had a comedy night on their top floor. Super cool bar/lounge. It has indoor out door areas. Multiple levels, rooms and lounge areas. Generous pours. We hung out there several hours enjoying great conversation and the chill atmosphere”

“Stopped in on July 21st. This was my first visit. I was waited on by Megan, who did a great job. I ordered the Italian Salad which was very good. I also ordered a large sausage and pepper pie and it was great. I could only get half down and had to resign to getting a to go box. I enjoyed it the second time too. I will definitely revisit this establishment when in the area (I stop in Staunton about 4 times a year). Thanks to the staff of Shenandoah Pizza...you all did a great job!”

“Our second and third visit in two years. This is a farm-to-table eatery. Their ingredients scream freshness. On the first visit, my husband ordered a bagel and a fruit cup. I ordered, by mistake, over easy eggs (I really wanted scrambled soft), with bacon and multi grain bread. In all fairness, I make bagels and my husband raves about them as they remind him of how bagels were made long ago, so he was not overly impressed with their bagel. He enjoyed the fruit salad. My eggs were so fresh that every bite of both egg white and yolk was divine! I was so glad I ordered them over easy! The toast perfect and bacon could have been toasted a bit more, but otherwise very tasty. On our second visit my husband ordered soft scrambled eggs with bacon and multi grain toast. I ordered same as previous day, but asked the bacon to be crispy. His eggs were over cooked. My eggs, though cooked as requested, were piled on top of the other. I found the toast to be overdone, though the bacon was cooked perfectly. Lack of consistency is what we find is a big problem when dining out. This lack can be attributed to several factors including staff scheduling and presence of management. Their products are farm fresh and because we have had more positive than negative experiences, we will return and be more clear with the specifics of our order.”

“Beyond the nostalgia and history, there's nothing particularly special about the clock tower. The menu is pretty typical fare and generally of average quality. Nithing is particularly memorable. The last time I was there my chicken was dry and overcooked. The staff have always been pleasant and attentive. I'd est here again, but it wouldn't be a first choice.”

“what a great little quiet place to relax and have a fine meal.”
Address: I have not been able to get Google to fix this. The restaurant is not located on New Street. Staunton declared that building unsafe several years ago. It is on, W Beverley St, Staunton, VA 24401, USA
“Such amazing food! Try the mango lamb. It was so good. While taking our order, we were asked to choose how hot we like our food. (This was for the curry chicken) I appreciate that. Taste of India is located on Beverly street with lots of convenient parking. We will be returning.”

“I stopped in last week while I was passing through town on a road trip for some breakfast. The dining area was cute and the seating was comfortable. The open kitchen was clean, and most importantly the food was delicious. The quiche was excellent - the crust was flaky and the filling was light, airy, and delicious. The olive oil poached eggs were wonderful. Cooked perfectly and retained the wonderful flavor of the olive oil. Here's the kicker - as I mentioned, I was passing through town on a road trip. Being the forgetful guy that I am, I left my jacket on my chair and headed towards Atlanta. When I realized what happened two hours later, I called the restaurant and was reassured by Luke, the owner's grandson, that they would mail me the jacket and the headphones I left inside back immediately. I was so relieved. True to Luke's word, my jacket showed up in the mail less than a week later. Not only is this an excellent establishment, it is also staffed and owned by some truly wonderful people. Please stop in if you are in the area and support this establishment. You won't regret it.”

“I had the amazing pleasure of meeting Grandma Ubon and enjoy her delicious food at her vendor location on Statler BLVD! The rice was perfect and the pork was so tender and the spicy Thai sauce is still lingering on my taste buds! As a coffee enthusiast I had to try Thai coffee the way she drinks it and its a little sweet but just what I needed to relieve the Thai heat. The elephant ears are huge and fresh, no chemicals in her batter! Her lively personality and amazing aromas made me feel like I was in Thailand! I look forward to going again!”

“Even though service was fast, the selection was very limited. They seem to have gotten into the business of selling mainly pizzas that they already have prepared, sitting in warming ovens for who knows how long, and the quality suffers.”

“BOY - this place sure Hath A Way of making my belly full! The food is delicious and delightfully-presented, the tea itself is superb - and they were more than accommodating of a medium-sized group with some last minute changes/requests. I particularly appreciated the portraits of Richard III (who has been slandered by the history books - he wasn't as bad as all that) and Henry VIII + wives. (You know, there's no hard evidence that Richard III had the princes in the tower killed. It's just a vile rumor. I believe the evidence suggests that Henry Stafford, 2nd Duke of Buckingham, was in fact the guilty party - and that his rebellion in 1483 was an attempt on his part to see himself crowned King of England over Richard. Richard III never would have publicly accused the Duke of Buckingham of the deed, for no contemporary of his would ever believe that Buckingham could act independently of the king's wishes in this matter. However, I do believe that Buckingham was, in fact, acting under his own impetus. Buckingham's Rebellion in 1483 was the culmination of these efforts - an attempt to supplant his former benefactor, Richard III, and install Henry Tudor on the throne. While this may seem like one of the many simple attempts to crown Henry Tudor, I believe this was truly the beginning of a master plot by Buckingham to eliminate all other royal pretenders - Tudor included! - and see himself seated on the throne of England. That history recalls King Richard III as the villain is a tragic misunderstanding, and a case of history truly being written by the victors). Anyway, 5 stars! I enjoyed my mango tea quite a lot, and the Ploughman's lunch was scrummy.”
