“My wife and I were visiting VA Beach for the first time with the hopes of moving here in a few years. We originally went for a stroll down Atlantic for some ice cream but were drawn into Oceans Ole because it seemed like a calmer and cleaner place to have a few drinks on a Saturday night. Buddy is the best thing since sliced bread! He was hilarious, entertaining, and polite. Unfortunately we missed the opportunity to eat any food, but we will definitely be back there regularly. The dj was also on point 👌. Highly recommend if you're looking for a perfect place to end your weekend stays.”

“It has been years since I dined here but enjoyed it the few times we went. Service is always outstanding and attentive but not overly so. The fresh bread basket is a treat and they'll bring you a variety of breads to try. Faves are the pretzel rolls. Yum. This is a "fancy" steakhouse type place where you order your main entree for $30-60 (steak choice or surf and turf) and then you order family-style sides at $9 or so a piece. The macaroni and cheese, their signature side, is delicious - add lobster for $15 to really enjoy it. Yum. They have some delicious desserts if you still have room. The indoor dining is nice and small and quiet but if you are lucky enough to snag one of the prime booths outside looking over the water, I recommend that choice on a lovely summer day with a breeze. It enhances the whole experience!”

Large indoor and outdoor seating areas, both well maintained and spacious enough to feel at ease about Covid distancing. They offer a wide range of beers made in house ranging from traditional to truly unique. Food here is good, but it's not the main attraction and isn't trying to be. It's more of a side to go with the beer. This place regularly hosts events like trivia nights and live entertainment; keep them on the radar for a solid win for something fun to do!”

“This was a fantastic breakfast stop. Our waitress was right on top of things and the food was delicious. I had the Cuban shrimp bowl and I was only able to eat half of it. The shrimp were tender and the eggs were fluffy. I didn't know how I would feel about the pickles, but they added to the overall flavor. They were salty, tart, and had a spicy kick that arrived after you were done. This is a gem.”

“Finally they are open. Hot pot is my favorite food, if you haven’t heard about hot pot, it’s like fondue, with soup base. You put all the fresh seafood, vegetables, and meat into a pot and cook for 2-3 minutes. When it’s done, you can dip it with your customize sauce. Also they have Korean BBQ, if you don’t want hot pot. Everything was so fresh, and customer service was awesome. Definitely will be back again with my family.”

Thebrisket was at my personal favorite but it was definitely good, the pulled pork though was solid, and the coleslaw and macaroni was fantastic. “I have been going to Tony's since I was 7 or 8 years. My Dad took me to the original location on Lafayette Blvd in Norfolk. My wife told me that the location had closed down. I was so disappointed. I was riding on Newtown Road one day and I look to my right and saw the sign Tony's Hot Dogs. I stopped and pulled in to the parking lot. I went in and ordered 6 hot dogs. I was not disappointed. This is still Tony's Hot Dogs. Best Hot Dog place in Town. I hope they don't close up. It will be hard to find another hot dog spot that is this good. Simply and to the point. Hot Dogs with Onions Mustard and Chilli. Just had a hot dog is supposed to be made.”
