Super friendly service! Our waiter was very attentive! The food was excellent! Their menu selection is the perfect size, and I liked the modern twist on traditional Mexican food. Both our entrees felt fresh, not greasy or overly cheesy like alot of other Mexican restaurants I've been to. I really appreciated the portion size of my meal (and my wife/ kid's as well). Just the right amount of rice and beans on the side.. the right amount of garnish. Really great!
I moved to Oregon from Texas over the summer and was really missing real Mexican food. Today I wish I had had two stomachs. I literally had the best chicken flautas I have ever tasted. I also had a crispy beef taco which was super yummy and the rice and beans definitely did not disappoint.
I'm so looking forward to my leftovers later on!
I really like eating here for the food and ambiance. We went during the Christmas ships show and although we didn't have a window seat, they lowered the indoor lights and we went out on their deck. It was wonderful.
The food is always flavorful and delicious. Staff is very friendly and even when the restaurant is full they are attentive. The food come out to you quickly and piping hot. The selection is great and they have seasonal dishes. My current favorite is the Salmon Veracruz. The margaritas are excellent as well.
The whole reason we went there was because we had a coupon for a buy one get one free brunch entree. We got the brunch, and someone other than our server dropped the check off, so it wasn’t his fault necessarily but it was the wrong check. Then when we got the right check, our coupon wasn’t honored for some reason!!
We both had the never ending mimosas, and our first glass was very small, like a small champagne glass- which is fine, but we laughed and said we’d be ordering a lot of them. To our surprise our second glass was twice the size, if not more, than our first. When we were done eating and got our third, it was the same size glass as the second but only half way filled and clearly had much more OJ than the first two drinks. Very strange level of consistency there on the drinks.
Overall, we didn’t have a bad time, but the table next to us clearly had issues with their server who was also our server. The patio seating with river views was nice. It was a bit pricey though and a huge disappointment that they didn’t honor the coupons, especially considering it appeared to be a manager who took our check at the end.
