“The people were friendly, the service was a little slow, possibly a little under staffed. We were hoping for a better selection of dinner items, salads, baked potatoes and such. Because it's a bar setting, the menu items were mostly burgers fries gizzards and a couple of other sandwiches. They did serve breakfast all day, which is what I had and my partner had a French dip which were good. The background noise from the bar was a little more than I was expecting in a sit down restaurant.”

“To start off with our beer mugs were very frosty. So our beer was wonderful. Then we had the Bruschetta appetizer. That was the bomb. My GF had the Steak Frito. Well that was really bad. The meat was not tender and very chewed. Plus there was not much meat but cartilage. Needless to say that dinner was not finished. My dinner on the other hand was delicious. I had the Southern Strip, it was tender and moist. Sorry GF! Our desert was alright. Cheese cake seemed a bit old. As well as the ice cream on mine.”

Their driving range is down hill which gives the impression you can hit farther than I really can. Not much shade to plan on bringing a hat and sun screen. “If you haven't been, it is THE go to Mexican restaurant in the area. We have many to choose from but I always steer anyone I know towards Mi Cocinita. You will not find anything store bought that they can make themselves. The tortillas, sauces, chips, everything all hand made and prepared to order. The food is always piping hot and DELICIOUS!!! They have almost any meat you could want. The bar is my favorite place to sit for a meal, they have regular family seating in the dining room that's comfortable and accommodating. Not to mention clean bathrooms. Head down for a drink and some tacos, tell em I sent you!”

“My fiance and I decided to try this place out for date night. Absolutely amazing food! 🤌🏼 we got the rustic chicken and a calzone to split. Best calzone I have ever had. The cheese was melted perfectly and it wasn't too much dough. It was cooked evenly and perfect from the wood fire stove. The flavors just delightful. The rustic chicken came out sizzling and my mouth instantly watered. The only thing I would say to improve the dish would be if the potatoes were seasoned more. Otherwise it was so delicious. Defintely will return to try the other food options offered. Overall amazing experience”

“The coffee drinks and baked goods at this place are amazing! The vibe is cozy and friendly. If ordering a food item not helpfully labeled “Quick Bite,” be prepared to wait a bit during peak times. The waffle was very good. The scrambled eggs were not very good (over cooked and under seasoned) and the eggs Benedict was ok. The hollandaise was super thin and an odd white color with not a lot of flavor. I imagine some of their more specialty items like the “Bomb-mi,” pho, and clam chowder are better, so this is something of a hopeful 4 star review. Will definitely come back to try other menu items.”

For the food quality and portions I can't believe anyone is complaining about price. We each had a meal with sides and ice cream plus an additional side of onions for just about $40. That is outstanding for a small farm to table restaurant. As a former restaurant owner in another county with similar food, I wouldn't be able to compete with these prices.”
