“A unique brew pub experience. The staff is friendly and ready with recommendations. I enjoyed being able to taste a couple beers before choosing one. Everyone was sitting outside and though it was wet and rainy, the heater stands made it a nice outdoor drinking environment. And a very attractive setting as well with the expansive lawn on the hillside below the brewery.”

“We tried the new Penn Cove Brewery food truck run by The Braeburn. I had the fried chicken wrap with apple bacon potato salad. The fried chicken had the perfect crunch on the outside with tender, juicy chicken inside. The apple bacon potato salad was delicious! We will most definitely go back again and again! Better chicken than the Payless Deli and a new favorite over Bubbas (now that they're under new management).”

“So fabulous!!! I am a chef and restaurant owner in the area. I am all about flavor forward restaurants with bold flavors and quality ingredients. This place hit a home run! I came in and ordered Togo since we wanted to enjoy for dinner but they are not open at dinner hours. Because of the meticulous care taken in packing and quality of take out containers , reheating was flawless. Not to mention it comes with instructions. What a giant leap in the culinary world for Freeland! Thrilled to have this in our community 💞!”

“Old Dominion playing softly over the outdoor speakers, hospitable dining area, and smell of brisket and ribs in the air. PETOSA ROASTA BBQ is the best kept secret of Freeland Wa. If you are coming up from the Clinton ferry, or just visiting Whidbey Is. You NEED to stop by. I ordered the brisket sandwich, it came with a large handful of coleslaw. Like most bbq joints in WA, the price is $$ out of $$$; however, unlike most WA bbq joints they have amazing food! The gal behind the register was kind and welcoming. The roast master checked on me while eating to ask me how I liked the brisket, not fearing any criticism. Well undoubtedly not to his surprise, I had NO criticism for his meal. The brisket came on a brioche bun, toasted with a hint of butter. The meat was juicy, but it did not soak the bun. And assortment of well seasoned bbq sauces to choose from. And you guys, I never eat the free coleslaw. Often times, most joints offer you a tasteless, runny mush. This slaw was seasoned to perfection, it had the right texture and amount of dressing. I usually leave most WA BBQ joints thinking, "I spent way to much money for that sorry excuse for bbq." I am excited to say I left Petosa Roasta BBQ with a big smile, and a full belly. Eager to tell my friends and family about this fantastic trailer located in Freeland WA, serving some of the best BBQ on Whidbey Island!”

“Very nice place! The view was very pretty and the people the were amazing. I found 40$ on the floor and turned it in they said that if no one claimed it in the next 24 hour I could have it. Turned a out that it was our waiters pay. The owner found out and gave me a free desert(it was really good).”

“Some interesting and delicious tacos. We tried the deluxe carnitas with pickled red onions and really good guacamole, the chicken tacos, and the really interesting fish tacos with coconut cream and pineapple salsa. All served with a side of the best pinto beans I've ever tasted. Everything was really fresh and well prepared.”

“Beautiful restaurant and great food. Best broccoli beef and almond chicken. Wish the wontons had some scallions and or fresh ginger but still very good. Forgot to take a picture before I started eating, oops”
