Chimacum Cafe

Address: 9253 Rhody Dr, Chimacum, WA 98325, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“I like many others who have written reviews on here, have eaten here many many times. I considered the chimacum cafe the best place to eat in Jefferson county. I kind of consider it a family coffee shop. Not a typical big city restaurant where you have to dress up. It's just a place where us locals get together have a meal talk with friends and leave the table feeling so full that you can't move. Of course there's times when the service isn't going to be that great for one reason or another. I've been there had great service when the place was packed and people were waiting to get in. I've had terrible service when the place was packed. I've had the best service ever when no one was in the restaurant. And sometimes the food has been so amazing and it was like going to your grandma's on a Sunday afternoon for dinner. Other times it was sort of like the discount from the freezer and you're just heating it up for me? But generally I would say the food is pretty good. I know the breakfast portions are ginormous. And the pie is so good. I don't know why it's being so maybe the business just wasn't there it took a big hit during the beginning of the pandemic and that's really sad because we love this place. And I hope that whoever gets it will continue the family style dining and keep it local keep it warm keep it friendly because we need that.”

“Best place to get treats, gifts, local and just plain fun. Sushi is amazing. Friendly people. Great soup. Lot's of wine and spirits. Also one of the oldest run stores on the Peninsula. Pure fun. A must go and see. All employees have share in this store as far as I am aware. :)”

“Loved this cafe!! 3 of us girls had a great get away to P.T. for the weekend and this is our favorite breakfast place. The food is delicious, fresh ingredients and perfect serving size. I had the vegetable quiche with fresh fruit and a mocha. Even my coffee was perfect, way better than a Starbucks!!! Will always include a meal here when we visit this lovely city!!”

Fountain Cafe

Address: 920 Washington St, Port Townsend, WA 98368, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“So, so good. Adorable place in Port Townsend. Is it Italian? Is it Mexican? It is both! I had the pasta special, with vodka sauce. Terrific. Also had the clams and mussels appetizer. The broth was outstanding, and made for exquisite continuous bread dipping. Also a really strong wine selection, for a place this size. Wait staff was also top class as well. Highly highly recommend”

Owl Sprit Cafe

Address: 218 Polk St, Port Townsend, WA 98368, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“So we stopped in hear for an early dinner and I was very impressed. I should have taken photos of the inside because when we got there almost no one was there by the time we finished there were no empty tables. So what you really want to know about is the food. In my picture here is an order of sweet potato Fry's on the left and their spicy ham and cheese sandwich. The Fry's have a lovely spicy mayo dip and unlike most sweet potato fries are breaded. The sweet smell of the fries with the spicy mayo was a great combination. Now for the main course. This sandwich surprised me. To start my wife picked this place specifically because that had a vegetarian Berger and the large number of vegetarian and vegan food options didn't leave me super hopeful for the ham sandwich. However I really enjoyed the sandwich the ham that they used was a nice thick cut from good ham not your standard deli ham. This ham just easily pulled apart and tasted great with the cheese and the light spice of the sauce. They only downside of this is the bread ended up a little to crisp from the cooking process for my taste but still it was great and I was totally full after. Fries = delicious Spicy ham and cheese = ham fantastic bread was a little crisp For those wondering my wife had a Portobello Berger she loved it we shared the order of fries.”

“First off cash only ( atm available at Safeway across street) simple diner offering standard diner options and a random selection of bottled beer.Biscuit was fresh and soft, perfect. Gravy was good could use a bit more sausage flavor, but still good. Hash was amazing potatoes and beef were tender but not mushy both were pan fried with a slight char giving a great flavor. Farms Reach Cafe

Address: 8972 Beaver Valley Rd, Chimacum, WA 98325, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“I really love the ethic of Farms Reach serving food sourced from local farms. The food is very good, fresh and well prepared. The staff is friendly and easy going with substituting because of dietary restrictions. The place is nearly always busy, so sometimes the wait is a little long, but worth it. There is a nice outdoor seating deck and a casual air overall. The prices are a touch higher than I would like but given what they are serving this is really understandable and worth the occasional splurge.”
