Ballard Smoke Shop

I wish this place would divorce the cafe from the bar and create two site presences. I have always loved both, as an elder seaman, and blessings upon Neptune, the bar is always consistant. I would give it a 5 separately. But the cafe? The last couple of years, you never know what to expect. Sometimes closed, sometimes open, posted hours changing at the drop of a hat, and often not even observing posted hours. I think today will be the last time I hop on a bus and attempt to eat here, unless I call. IF they answer the phone! Since at my age, I HAVE to bus, I'll take my chances elsewhere, more dependable.

This is my favorite bar in Ballard and I was raised right up the road. Ballard is changing and being destroyed by these new hipsters. Such a comfort to have the old fisherman bar running the way it always hasbeen, nothing has changed and I love everything about this historic spot! Friendly folks, good drinks, no frills or gimmicks. Just a great local place to sit and enjoy! Great historical nautical decor. Small and intimate, dimly lit, perfect spot. Mixed crowd

Ballard Smoke Shop is a no frills bar with a few TVs, friendly staff and a nautical heritage. Great place to get a strong drink and hang out with friends in a relaxed environment. The food is solid and what you would expect from bar food.

Pleasant coffee shop. Standard fare, I think breakfast all day. Reasonable prices. No parking, but not difficult to find parking; parking on the strret have City parking charge.

Went here for a night cap after a show and was helped by the single nicest bartender I've ever met. I can't remember your name but you are awesome bartender lady. Keep it up.
