Not sure where to start here, everything I've ever had here was absolutely superb! The food is, frankly, fantastic! The rotisserie duck is out of this world! ... Crispy skin, moist succulent meat, and cooked to perfection. Pair that with the steamed buns and sauces, and you have an absolute winner. Oh, and don't forget the pork belly appetizers!
Make reservations! Because walking in on a Friday night results in a 2.5 hour wait, unless you sit at the bar. However, even at the bar, you still get a fantastic meal. You won't regret the wait if you opt for table service.
I don’t want to give this place 5 stars if only to ward off the crowds. However the food is simply perfect. The dishes are fun yet classic. Tasty America place with a bright atmosphere and great service.
Wonderful restaurant with amazing food. We had great service. We started at the bar then moved to a table for dinner. The bartender went out of her way to find out which meals I could eat with my food allergies. Overall a great experience and I would eat here again.
Incredible. I don't like tequila but the drink I had was phenomenal. Thank you for serving empress gin as well. Food was top notch. The spuds are amazing and I'm very happy to add dauphine to my vocabulary as a food worth splurging on.
Not to mention the great service. Attentive but not annoying with great suggestions for food and drinks.
Our waiter was very nice! He was super polite and allowed us to make modifications to some items on the menu. We were able to get a vegetarian version of the braised pork bun made.
The food was really good. I would definitely go there again. I had the beet salad and it’s great! The flavour balance is devine. It had just the right amount of crunch. The beets were perfectly cooked and not too mushy.
I do wish the pork buns had a little less bun with them, it seemed a bit over powering to the actual meat. I think they would be better as stuffed buns but the were still very tasty!
