“The employees were very friendly and service was fast. The pork fried rice did not have much flavor, somewhat bland. The beef and broccoli was great. The hot and sour soup is great. The lemon chicken was not very lemony, it was sweet and the sauce was a bright yellow color, not sure if it was food coloring?? The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and inviting. So, happy with some items and disappointed with others.”

“I knew I was in for a treat when I had the house made chips and was directed to the salsa bar. A salsa bar is a good sign. And I wasn’t wrong. Four meals were ordered and midway through we were all talking about what we were going to have when we returned. This is good freshly made Mexican food. This is not “all dishes have orange melted cheese and look the same” Mexican food.”

“We had an early dinner here on Saturday night and our party of 4 really enjoyed our time here. We got there just before a rush so food took about 30 minutes to get to us, but it tasted really fresh overall so I dont mind the wait. The place was very quiet and romantic, clean, friendly, and overall a good evening! Food was tasty and very hot when we got it, and I cant wait to go back and try new dishes. Only suggestion would be that if you want to give people surveys at the end of their meal, a pen is usually very handy!”

“I hosted a company party in the banquet area upstairs at the Woodman and it was the perfect location and ambiance for our team. The upstairs room is private, spacious and the tables can be set up to accommodate any group. Everyone we encountered at the Woodman was friendly, professional and made our event run smoothly. All of the food orders were perfect and my guests loved their entrees. We will definitely use them for future events!”

“Service was very good and friendly. Complimentary bread with whipped butter was warm and excellent. The porterhouse was great. It tasted of smokiness like it was cooked over a wood fire and was cooked to exactly medium rare as ordered. Seafood tower had very good variety of seafood with generous portions. The oysters were very fresh. We also had 3 beers and a couple cocktails which brought the total to about $300.”

Prices are on the high side, though worth it.”

The food was very good with several vegetarian and vegan options. The service was fantastic (thank you Jessica for the wonderful honey drop and taking good care of us). Will be back!”
