“Food is good enough, but I’ve had a couple times where it was undercooked and cold. And when I say cold, I mean cold… not even tepid. And honestly, it doesn’t have what I’d consider an authentic Mexican food taste vibe. I’ve lived in So Cal for many years, and been to lots of Mexican restaurants there, and in Mexico itself, so I know and love Mexican food. This place is ok enough, but doesn’t seem exactly authentic, and consequently not great, though not terrible. Hence the 3 star review.”

“It's nice, but I wouldn't call this place "upscale." Due to the open floor plan and tall ceilings this place can get very loud. Expect a very limited selection/variety of meats even with their given name. Maybe I was just expecting more but nothing here is remarkable. Hopefully things change for the better in the future.”

“I had an amazing breakfast sandwich (and yes you can get it on a biscuit!) and I also got a bagel to take home for later. Both were so delicious and the perfect breakfast after a crazy weekend at the Gorge! Also the gals at the window were so nice and very efficient despite the long lines. Will come again!”

“This is a wonderful little restaurant with the best Mexican food in town! They have some good vegan options. I ordered the veggie burrito (it was huge!) and added cauliflower and broccoli to it and it was the best burrito I've had in a long time. The rice and beans were delicious as well. The staff was super friendly and had great customer service! I'll be stopping by here anytime I pass through Ellensburg!”

“I love their food. So flavorful. I've tried a lot of their different plates but started ordering the small burrito because it is the perfect size for me. The reason is because we do not live there. We always stop there when we go to and from Seattle. And I do not like to waste food. My husband loves their street tacos. I give it 2 thumbs up!!! Would give it more, but I only have 2 hands. ;-) I might just take a cooler so that I can store my leftovers to eat later!”

“Excellent food and an excellent experience. We really enjoyed the experience. Quiet, no overly crowded. The waiter was awesome and attentive, but not overly so. Salad and soup was perfect. I would have preferred the appetizer rolls before dinner, but both the Seattle and Ellensburg rolls were soooo good. I got the salmon and chicken combination dinner and it was perfect and I have left overs for tomorrow. The bubble tea for dessert was interesting. Thank you for a great dinner.”

“It's not a place I often go to, I've been trying to save my money so I can't come here very much! But the times I have went there were wonderful, I haven't had a bad experience here and have made wonderful memories with my siblings over some years! Stopping by for drinks once in a blue moon and walking around campus just hanging out, the drinks I've tried have been amazing! And the ice cream is as good as people say! I also love the people who work there, they've been so friendly and sweet, this nice lady even helped us out and was very patient with my brother and I as we tried to describe my order! A nice place to visit once in a while, I hope I can take my siblings here again at some point!”

“We were traveling to Seattle and planned an overnight stay in Elensburg. While looking for vegetarian restaurants, to our pleasant surprise found this Indian restaurant. The owner lady was super sweet and kind to talk. The curries were delicoius and homemade like food with good portions and reasonable prices. The restaurant was very nicely decorated and clean! The owner lady offered extra food for my daughter and was very generous with us. I highly recommend them for their food quality and hospitality!”

“I love the Palace Cafe. The breakfast menus are available most of the day I believe. It literally doesn't matter what you order if you want good food when you order from the Palace Cafe you will get good food and good service. It has a nostalgic feel to it with artwork made from old photographs. When you go into a restaurant and you go and sit down and it's interesting wherever you look, and the waitresses and work people there are super friendly, it becomes very quickly a fun experience and then your food arrives, and the food is amazing every time. To top it off the prices are really reasonable. I don't know anybody there and I don't work for them but when my parents were alive it was a real treat to take them to the Palace for what would always be a fun experience for all.”

“Delicious southern food! We tried the fried catfish (comes with choice of sides) which was tasty without being oily. The restaurant was full but the waitress came back looking for us and accommodated my wife and I at the bar, where we watched the friendly bartender prepare her cocktails with skill. We liked this place so much that we came back the next day but sadly, they had closed early. Will be back again when we visit Ellensburg.”
