“Normally this location is spot on, and waiting time is minimal. Maybe it was the amount of orders vs employees on duty ratio. This was almost a 3 star review, but what made it better, was the friendliness of the employee working drive thru window. I'm sure it's not easy dealing with entitlement most the day. Not only the customers but, the employees as well. Especially on weekends. Most of the Starbucks I frequent have crews that aren't usually on top of their game on the weekends. Today, I give props to the drive thru window at Center and Mullen.”

“Because of Coronavirus, Starbucks only has orders to go. I actually like this because this location used to be very busy with the snotty downtown Tacoma set but now...it's very quiet and just a more enjoyable experience. “I stopped by Starbucks in Tacoma Place located on South 72ND Street while on business in Tacoma. It’s really easy to see from the street but the parking lot entrance/exit is a little bit of a challenge. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. The service is fast and my breakfast sandwich excellent. And of course my coffee drink was wonderful. This is a great location if a caffeine need arises.”

“Loved the hot food, but don't always appreciate the "pull forward" for a sausage mcmuffin. My auntie reminded me to wait until i get my food before getting belligerent...good looking out! I came during lunch, the area was filthy, and lines were long. However, as the rush died down the employees began to clean rather swiftly and we're helpful even though my order was wrong. They fixed it, no questions asked. The people were very kind and got my special order correct. But the kids room was very dirty which it usually isn't they must have had someone call out that was supposed to clean it the night before.”
