The Food; was amazing! I always judge Italian restaurants off of their basics so I ordered their spaghetti and meatballs. They were perfectly done and the marinara sauce tasted fresh and had some sweetness to it from the tomatoes themselves which was delicious. Also ordered the chicken Alfredo which was so creamy and hot when it came out.

Felt charmed by the brick historical feel and friendly staff. While I had a wonderfully seared sirloin steak and mashed potatoes, I want to try Mel's burger sometime - their french fries are crispy battered perfection and it will be hard to try anything served without them. Not sure I'd call this a cafe with its decor and bar, but my first impression was during dinner service, so maybe the intriguing brunch menu will sway me. The dinner menu has all kinds of comfort food and it was hard to choose despite being 1 page. Without many textiles, seems like it would be too noisy in the evenings if you aren't seated in the cozy street-facing cubby, but we lucked out for that table. I will bring friends here again.

After reading the reviews, the wife and I stopped by for a quick lunch. This is a neat little diner and it was full of locals on a rainy weekend afternoon.

For lunch, I got the Bucks Deluxe burger and a cup of the clam chowder. Both were awesome and I would get it again. The wife got the BLT with fries. Beware: the fries are super addictive. :-)

Delicious food and lovely staff! We had the best meal here a couple of days ago I had a Cobb salad and the tenderloin kabobs. Both superb. For dessert our table had the burnt cream and pecan pie which were perfect. The burnt cream had the perfect smoky sweet crust and the most intense vanilla flavor inside. Yum! Best part though was our server, Stacy! Super warm and funny. Also completely on it with everything! Was also super patient as we were taking our time with people we hadn't seen in a while. Great experience
