Colophon Cafe

If you go to Colophon Cafe in Bellingham's historic Fairhaven neighborhood, go for the atmosphere. It's in a large historic building with outdoor patio seating along a public square that hosts movie nights, a farmers market and other fun community events.

The staff are friendly and fast, but the food is nothing to write home about. The menu is large, but I've been twice now and have yet to be wowed by the food. The chicken pot pie is not very good.

I traveled up the wonderful town of Fairhaven in Bellingham, Washington with friends and we stumbled across this place that was across the ways from an outside public theater. We were welcomed by some amazing and warm hospitality and the ambiance here was very well lit and decorated. We tried a sample of the African Pea soup and it was really amazing and I ordered my first ever chicken pot pie and I was really really delighted. It's slightly on the pricier side with smaller amounts but it is suggested to try things that you normally don't try anywhere else, like the African soup, and I feel in making those kinds of choices, you get more bang for your buck.

The food here was really good and the amount was ample. The staff is also very hospitable and pleasant. They have some vegeterian/vegan options which are also tasty. The coffee was good too. Pretty chill environment inside

I felt like I was in Europe!
Great location and delicious soups (we’ve tried Clam Chowder and Zucchini cheese one).
P.S. Chai Latte wasn’t the best though, but it’s excusably due to the nice atmosphere:)

Really delicious food and great servers. My daughter loves the game area.
