“I love the rustic atmosphere. It has a bit of a bar feel, but certainly appropriate for families. We had hoagies, fries, and onion rings that were outstanding. They feature beer from many craft breweries across the state. This was the best lunch we've had in the area in quite a while. I highly recommend giving it a try.”

“My experience here was amazing! I was able to try the seasonal oxtail, vegetable soup (with fish), served with fufu. And everything tasted incredible. The oxtail dish was savory with a good kick of spice, while the vegetable soup was more mild in spice, yet still fantastic. The owner was so helpful & friendly. I had a great experience eating here, I’ll definitely be back!!”

“Huey Magoo's definitely puts the tender in chicken tender. Had the fried tendies with lemon pepper on opening day... Let me tell you, they are not joking about high quality chicken. It was absolutely tender and flavorful. Portion sizes are generous; the 5 piece definitely hit the spot. With a healthy side of fries, slaw, and toast, I was definitely satisfied. Sauce was also on point, tho I wish they had spicier options. The service was friendly and quick. One note if you dine in, there's a cold draft from the door that is annoyingly cold, and the door tends to stick open. Hope they get this fixed. Otherwise, highly recommend and this is my new go-to chicken spot in town.”

“This place truly took me back from when I grew up in texas and had some delicious Mexican or Tex-Mex meals out. Loved that when you sit down, you are immediately greeted with chips and salsa from the staff. They have an amazing lunch special, which is even on Saturday's as well. I got the fajita lunch special, which is the perfect portion for one person and had leftovers. The restaurant is very trendy with the tile floors and the murals on the walls.”

“Expensive! Maybe I'm out of touch with inflation, but the pulled pork sandwich was missing about 25% of the serving. About two large tablespoons in a $5 sandwich, on a bare bun. Photo with keys for size comparison. Otherwise the atmosphere was family-friendly. If you (owners) read this, consider frying in beef tallow, instead of the industrial seed oils (canola etc) that everyone else uses, which are leading to so much ill health. It will give you a stand-out product that you can justify a premium charge on.”

“Across the Board Game Cafe is amazing!! This is such a cool idea and we are so glad to see this business in our area! They have hundreds of amazing board games to choose from! It feels like every game I could ever think of or imagine is here. Everything from the classics like Monopoly (and so many other versions of Monopoly) to Escape Room board games! And also Mario Kart on the TV available to play! The $5 game day pass is an incredible value compared to many other board game cafes that we have seen before. The decorations inside are so nice, you can tell so much time and effort was put into the details. The food is so great too!! We had the breakfast pizza and it was delicious! That sauce was incredible. Their drinks include amazing coffees, Italian sodas, boba, and much more! They are always doing creative seasonal special and have creative options like ice cream nachos! The ice cream they serve, Ashbys sterling ice cream, is delicious homemade ice cream from Michigan! I have always loved Ashbys. They do delicious milkshakes too and even have affogatos! Excellent location, right beside ACE Hardware in White Sulphur Springs. Close to everything. Very walkable town and also plenty of free parking options all around the Board Game Cafe. This is such a clean and cozy place, amazing atmosphere. Such a cool place for family friendly fun, a date night, time with friends. The owners are wonderful people and were incredibly kind. The staff was excellent too. We highly recommend Across the Board Game cafe and hope that you will also support their business and all of their hard work!!”

“Staying at Pomano Salt Cave and Spa for the night one of their employees recommended Gustard’s for dinner. So glad she did. My daughter and I had dinner and it was very good. She had the salmon and I had the meatballs. We shared a crème brûlée. Everything was good. New waitress teaming up with another server did a great job. We will be back!”

“Elkins, West Virginia is a charming, small American town. The College of Elkins and Davis on the grounds of which sits the Gracrland now has about 400 students. The Graceland is a large late 19th century house with wonderful rooms, lots of wood, oak, birds-eye maple and more decorated in period furnishings and art.
