Black & Tan Grille

Went last night for restaurant week with my mother, to say we were blown away would be an understatement. Ambiance and service were top notch. I want to mention the beet salad with goat cheese, as we are still talking about it. Crab cakes were all meat and no filler, and don’t even get me started on the bread! Baked fresh, in-house. We added on the lobster bisque and soup du jour, both were fantastic. By the time our entrees arrived, we both were full. When the plates were set in front of us, they were plated in such a way that we couldn’t resist diving in. Needless to say, we asked for our meals to be boxed up as we wanted to save whatever room we could for dessert. Cheesecake and creme brûlée. Perfect endings. When a meal makes you lose track of time and then research how to recreate it at home (beet salad), you know you’ve eaten a great meal. Can’t wait to return!!

We had great food, and great service here. One approach is to spiff up, go in the lounge area, and have one of their small plates. It's quite economical and yet special Gourmet dining.

Always great food and awesome flavors. I love how each bite takes you on a road trip of taste. Hands down the best place in town if you want your taste buds wowed.

Our service here was outstanding! The food was decent, but I'd return for the service. The drinks were also reasonably priced for being an upscale place.

Good but Over-priced. Liked the bartenders. Nice place to have a drink. Food was very good. However, portions are small & I've had the same high quality & portion size for much less money. We were in a huge group so I was able to see a wide variety of the menu.
