St. Brendan's Inn

Love the atmosphere, great pub feel. Had the Salmon salad and chicken pasta dish during restaurant week. Food and drink was excellent. Service also excellent.

Was here for restaurant week dinner. Had the pecan crusted walleye. It was just OK with me and I would mot order again. Pecan crust was really crispy and close to being over done. Picked away most of the crust sure didn't taste like walleye. Anyway vegetables that came with meal were great. The cheese cake was also very good. Our bill was $54.92. Wife tipped $10. They weren't real busy and waitress wasn't very attentive. Asked twice for a box to take home left over cheese cake. Never got it. I felt wife over tipped. Oh well

I've never stayed at the Inn myself, but have heard from a number of friends that it is wonderful.

My review is just about the food & drink portion of the establishment, as that I'm quite familiar with. The atmosphere in the restaurant is great as is the room itself, with lots of comfort and charm built in. The staff is friendly and accommodating, with lots of recommendations of what to try on the menu. The bartenders are friendly and can whip up anything you can think of and do it with style.

Here's my hint, it's all great! My favorite are the lamb shanks, they are brilliant! If your thing is soup, try the the root soup, on a cold Winters day nothing could be better.

I’ve eaten at the restaurant before with great food and a great atmosphere. This visit was the first of staying at the hotel. The room was clean and well put together. Staff were friendly and the breakfast (omelette station) was wonderful. For our overnight getaway, it was a perfect stay.

My husband surprised me with a night stay here for our anniversary. I love the Irish Feel. The food was really great. Had some Irish food and some American food. We both tried some Irish food and it tasted great. Would maybe just go here to eat, the food was that great. Loved the rooms. And the people were really friendly. Would recommend going here and would differently stay here again.
