The pumpkin chocolate chip muffins are the best! Second favorite is the sunrise muffin. They also have some great gluten free treats.

Free parking lot. Immediatly seated for weekday lunch. Large, pleasant well lit dining room with mixed crowd trending toward older. Good service, good food at this Madison institution. Small out door seating area on sidewalk entry way at parking lot edge.

This is my favorite breakfast place! There is a nice variety and everything is amazing! They also have a great selection of bakery items that you can get to take out.

Staff is really great-very helpful and quick, even during their rush. Coffee and food is great! They have a $5 minimum on cards, which is inconvenient. Also, it can be pretty loud in there and you may have to wait a few minutes in line and for a table because it's so popular. Maybe not the best place to go for a quiet study session, but a great hidden gem on the North Side

Lovely atmosphere. The further back you go, the cozier it gets, until you're right by the fireplace. When the weather is warm & nice, you even have the option of sitting outside. My only gripe is they close "early" at 8 pm. As a night owl, I rarely have opportunities to go.
