My friend and I wandered past this place on our way back to our hotel and decided the menu looked intriguing. We started at the bar and had delicious cocktails and very friendly bartenders. We decided to stay for dinner and had some of the best cheese curds I've ever had. I had the pappardelle and my friend had the fish fry. We were very satisfied with our food and service.
AMAZING selection of innovative drinks. A fair amount of gluten free options, but very few vegan choices. My hamburger on a gluten free bun tasted delicious! (Which is probably an understatement) You really can't beat good, quality ingredients. The only down side was the very loud environment. It was hard to hold a conversation with my mom sitting two feet away.
Surprisingly good place. It's a smaller looking bar with a door that's hard to see. Once inside it's barely lit enough to find your way around tables but the food is really really good! The buffalo cheese curds are killer. Beautiful food presentation and very friendly staff made for a great experience. I'll definitely look to go back next time I'm in town
This restaurant would be 5 stars in any USA city. That is probably the most important thing that can be said. I had a cocktail crafted by Thor that was exceptional, the Missed Flight Heard, and the scotch eggs and lamb sliders were exceptional. If you come to Madison and you love cocktails and good food, you must, must, must come to this place. Period. Thanks!
Great service! I enjoyed a wonderful grass fed burger, gluten free bun, green salad. It’s such a joy to go to a restaurant that values good ingredients.
