Overall, the quality of the food is pretty good for a buffet joint, and the selection is large. With selection comes staleness, though. “The food was flavourful but not very inventive and rather boring. I would go again but be more selective. The burger bun was generic yet the patty was pretty good. Too bad it was robbed by cheap oily American cheese. Use ANY other cheese that is actually a cheese. Had a soup and it was very flavorful bit seemed it was from a kit. The Boston Cream Pie was actually a white cake with hard frosting so strike out there. The service was friendly and warm. All staff seemed to genuinely be happy. I felt bad hearing the waitress exclaim to her boss the table next to us stiffed her with a $2 tip.”

“Gorgeous historic hotel with a lot of character. Ample room in the rooms. Multiple floors to pick from, providing privacy for everyone. The restaurant provides a high end dining experience, farm to table, in a very intimate setting. Few things worthy of note: Dinner requires a reservation, so plan ahead. Beds are quite soft. Larger folks, or those with back pain may find this uncomfortable. Rooms come with an additional heater for the cold months. Turn it up, and leave it on. It is a historic building, and is insulated and uses radiant heat.”

“I love The Natural Way! Patti and Earl are the owners and have done an excellent job with both the store and the eatery! Patti is a nutritionist and can help out with your dietary needs. Earl is a chef and creates a fabulous menu that changes almost daily and of course, with the season! You can expect to fresh organic fruits and vegetables as well as dairy products in the coolers. They also have a freezer section for meats, breads, pizzas, etc. In addition, they also have a variety of drinks available. You can order any drink you'd like off their menu or grab one out of the cooler. After (or before!) your meal, you can even do some household shopping!”

“My fiance and I went here for dinner one night and loved that Ming's is all you can eat buffet. The reason for only three stars is their shrimp was not de-veined. Majority of their dishes had shrimp in them so we were limited as to what else we could enjoy without eating the shrimp. We did like how quickly they restocked food as they ran out so we never had to wait for something to come out. The restaurant was packed the night we went but got a table right away and staff was friendly.”

“After going to another establishment in town and not even being acknowledged we went to Char Haus instead. We're lucky we got ignored at that other place because the staff here was extremely friendly, the food was great, and the inside is very nice. Don't let the location put you off at all (it's a bit of an industrial and residential mix area), an outstanding meal and great service await you inside! I also thought my wine selections would be limited, WRONG. They have put together a small but GREAT wine list here. My wife and I loved our evening. I went with the walleye special they had and it was done perfectly, first-rate Friday fish fry for sure!”
