“We ate here yesterday and really enjoyed everything! I saw that this pizza place was replacing the one that closed so we were excited to try it out. It is a casual atmosphere which is relaxing. The place to order the pizza is next to the bar area. We first ordered the So Smokey pizza and a Sausage pizza. We then ordered beer at the bar and sat down. It was not too busy when we were there. I would say we got there a little after noon. The crust on the pizza is on the thinner/hand tossed side. The So Smokey pizza had a great bacon flavor, we would get this again. The sausage was good, very mild flavor. I can't wait to try the other flavors. I also look forward to comming here in the summer to sit on the patio or take a pizza and growler to go to eat at one of the local state parks.”

“Great, fun well kept course! The fairways were really well kept and fun to play! The green were in great condition. We loved this course, it was challenging but not to over whelming. The whole atmosphere was relaxed and easy going. We did not feel rushed or pressured. Carts were available and made for a easy fun round of golf. After ward stop in the pub for a drink and snacks! Kevin was a great and making some great improvements!”

“I usually only read Google reviews rather than take the time to write them. However, after visiting this place two mornings in a row on our vacation, I had to write a review. The food here is wonderful, the staff are very pleasant, and the coffee is superb. Their tater tots are seasoned so perfectly, the beignets were absolutely scrumptious, and their sausage gravy was so good I wanted to put it in a thermos and drink it. Also the biscuits with my chicken & biscuits with gravy were phenomenal. If I lived in Egg Harbor I would delegate my family’s breakfast to this place every morning rather than cook myself. An absolutely wonderful little place. Very much worth your time to support this lovely little bagel & beignet shop. 10/10.”

“Old rustic hotel sits in the lake with a beach and a family owned feel, very cute if you don’t mind old decor and no cell signal. Waking up to breath taking views makes staying here worth it. Their breakfast menu is simple home cooked style food is good as is the price. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Location is short drive to shops, restaurants and beautiful bays and beaches.”

“Beautiful restaurant. Warm welcoming staff. A acoustic guitar duo provided music in the bar area. They have beautiful outside and indoor dining. The food was so VERY FRESH! We saw people dressed casually enjoying fine dining. They have outside fire pits. We ate at a bar top table in the bar while listening to the wonderful music. Ample parking - one of the reasons we chose to have dinner there. First time visiting this restaurant. We consider this to be a restaurant offering wonderful food and great atmosphere. A hidden gem in Door County located just north of the village of Egg Harbor across from Wood Market!”

“First, this place was colorful, fun, and had a cheery atmosphere right from the start. We came for late breakfast, I had the quiche of the day which comes with fresh fruit and a perfectly moist muffin. The serving size was perfect and the food was deliciously fresh! My hubby got an equally satisfying breakfast. We loved it so much we skipped our previous plans for the next day and ate here again! This restaurant is one of the reasons I'm looking forward to Door County vacation again soon. Also, it's open every day of the year!!! No disappointments here, 5 stars from us!”

“We just got home from a week up at Peninsula State park and we stopped at Casey's twice this week for the best BBQ Ribs in the area. We were able to sit outside in back of the restaurant with a view that over looks the bay. Service was great, oh did I mention the haystack onion rings? What a great lunch. (both times) Will return next year.”

“Cute, nice place to get ice cream along the main road that goes through Egg Harbor. Either find a lot or street parking and take a nice stroll up and down the street. But be sure to stop on by. A good amount of flavors to pick from and cute seating outdoors on a nice sunny day to enjoy your treat. They also sell delicious homemade fudge and gourmet popcorn. Would definitely recommend.”

“Amazing!!!!! Views were awesome and the food was fantastic! My wife and I ordered fish tacos, fish sliders, tator tot balls, spring rolls, cheese plate and the cherry dessert. Yes we ordered way too much food, but we kept seeing what everyone else was eating and just had to order it. Every thing was absolutely the best food we have had in a long time. I can't wait to go back next time we are up there. Highly recommend”

“Loved it. We stopped here after a long day seeing the sights. Our server was very friendly and attentive. They maybe could have used one more server to help everyone have more table per table, but we never felt neglected. Our beers were good, and so were the burgers. “The Fireside Restaurant is a cozy place to sit and chat while eating some fresh, delicious food! Our waitress served with a smile and appreciation for us folks who'd never eaten there before! I ordered a fresh salad with chicken added and two dressings on the side. A bowl of tomato bisque soup and a salad arrived for my husband. A basket of small pieces of artisan bread arrived first accompanied by some oil and delicious balsamic vinegar mixed. We will definitely return to the Fireside!”

“In the Alpine Resort. Felt like my party of four stepped back into the 1960s when we walked into this very large place with a Swiss theme. Seems nothing has changed since. Large, dead eating area that felt more like a nursing home than a restaurant, but the food was pretty good. The view of the bay was even better! I got the prime rib and veggies and a Manhattan on the rocks. All very nice.”

“The food is very generic but very generous in its portions. Almost too much for me. The biggest problem I had was only one choice of eggs (scrambled) on almost all of the dishes. The menu also says that there is no substitution on the menu items. So if you like scrambled eggs you are in luck. If you want any other type of egg, you pretty much have 1 or 2 menu options. The prices are definitely tourist orientated (high) especially for breakfast items.”

“Not sure what previous posts are taking about. We got 2 burgers and shared a fry and it was plenty of food. Large fries and 2 bottles of Baumeister sodas and our bill was only around $23. Excellent service and greatest burgers I've had in a long time. Great place to stop!!”
