“I was fortunate to be able to try some samplings of food from Locavore at the grand opening for Zymurgy Brewing in Menomonie, WI. There was a spread of various local foods, from cheeses to breads to spreads to venison From the moment I walked in, I knew I would need to sample the offerings. I ordered my drink first, of course, on celebration of the grand opening, then made my way over to the Locavore table. After some pleasant conversation with the two wonderful folks serving the food, I went for it and filled up a plate. I particularly enjoyed the cheese offerings. There were very unique cheeses with creative names like Circle of the Sun and Moonglow, which proved more than a fancy name with their excellent flavor and texture. I was very impressed with Locavore, both the food and the attitude of their staff. I look forward to potential future opportunities to try some of their hot/prepared food as I hear rumors they may become a staple out front of Zymurgy with their food truck.”

“My first two visits here in September 2019 for lunch have been very good overall. The service is attentive and pleasing. The Buffet selections are more than satisfying. The building is clean and the atmosphere is just the way I'd like it for a quick meal at a fabulous price ($7.75 with soft drink included). “If you like beer, this is definitely the place. My partner and I went there at around 10 at night (they offer carry outs on beer and food until midnight, which is a plus) to grab some food, seeing as it's close to our home. The place has a great atmosphere, really hip and modern. They even have board games you can play with you'd friends, which is cool. The selection of beers blew me away, but I'm not really a fan of beer. A few cider options, and a mead option. Boyfriend said the mead was delicious (I forgot my ID so I couldn't taste test anything). We stayed and ordered food, a pizza, wings, and cheese bread. The bread was strange, however the wings and pizza were delicious! And they have draft root beer which tasted amazing. Overall, recommend!”

“I had heard from friends (and other reviews) that the pizza was a bit flavorless, especially the crust, though those friends and reviews were all from at least 5 years ago. Something must have changed, because in the past few years since I've been coming the pizza has always been fantastic. Their sausage is just so- so, but other toppings I've tried have all been good, and the crust has a very nice texture and garlic flavor to it. The sauce is a bit above average, and they put just the right amount on the pizza. Pricing could be a bit better, especially for drinks, but you'll unfortunately always have the premium markup at an in-resort location.”

“It's hard to review a chain like this. It's a Burger King. I haven't had any issues at the Golf Rd location in Eau Claire. The coupons on the mobile app can be a little disingenuous. Often they are just reworkings of different already available deals in different combinations. I tried the coffee subscription, and I don't recommend it. Yeah, it's Burger King coffee, which wouldn't be my first choice with Kwik Trip and Holiday right next door, but the bigger problem is that it is treated as a coupon rather than a real subscription. This means you can't get your daily free coffee AND use a breakfast coupon at the same time. I don't find that to be acceptable considering there is a monthly fee for the subscription.”

“The food here is excellent. Great pho, delicious chicken and sticky rice. The Hmong sausage is really tasty (and I don't usually even like sausage). Most entrees are not spicy (but can be made spicy if desired). The menu can be a little confusing, but staff are happy to answer questions. Some items are "deli" items intended for carryout, but they may be available in the restaurant, just ask about it. Service is casual, different dishes may arrive at the table at different times, but many items lend themselves to sharing with your companions anyway. Ask for extra small plates. Friendly and kind people running the place. This is definitely the best restaurant to land in this location since I've lived here. (The chicken is even better than Chicken Unlimited!!!)”
