“Okay, so I've been meaning to do a review on this place. So my fiance, his mom, and I went to SamiJo's Pizzeria I wanna say in Oct. So yeah I am late on this review. Anyways, we've been wanting to try this place out. And we were happy that we did! I believe it's fairly new. It was new for us. The pictures I will be posting are from 3 different times we were there. It was so good we actually went back like 3 times in one week. And the owners and staff were so welcoming and greeted us when we walked in. The ordering is different from other places I've been to. You pick where you want to sit. Menus are on the tables. And when you're ready you go to the register and order. Which is so different! It's pretty cool they do that. And one is when my daughter came to visit us. She and her boyfriend moved back in August. They now live in St Paul, MN. So we took her there and she couldn't get over how good the pizza was! She can eat a lot and not gain weight. My daughter and fiance ate that pizza like there was no tomorrow. She said it's better than Gus Pizza which is saying something. I was like you just didn't say that lol. She did. It's cool how now they know us when we go and eat there. And the gentleman always asks how my daughter is doing. The reason their pizza is so good it's because of the crust. It's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We overheard a girl saying that her boyfriend is from New York. And misses the pizzas there. They went there before and he said that the pizza is close to how they make them in New York. I highly recommend going there and try their pizzas and other foods on the menu. We say we're going to try something else. But the pizza is so good. So like 3 years ago I had COVID when it was going around. I still don't have my scent of restaurant food in general and anything else. So I can't tell you if it smells good or not. My daughter and fiance said that it smells great. Be safe everyone! “Honestly this is one of the best Mexican restaurants I have been in. As a Mexican we always miss the traditional food and if you have been there you won’t let me lie, It makes me feel just like I have been transported there. There quesadillas are handmade and omg! The taste is just delishious. It is far from where I live but defenetly worth the trip. Plus they have a special traditional dish everyday. I had the caldo and Love it! If you love traditional Mexican food this is the place for you!!”

“We ordered take out last night, and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered a shrimp taco salad that was very good, as were the tacos. Hubs had shrimp and lobster enchiladas and loved them. The salsa and guacamole were so good!! The only issue we had was we ordered two burgers, because yes, were those people with those kids. We get home- no burgers. Come to find out, they don’t even sell them but didn’t tell us. They did give us some free tacos which my kids enjoyed. All in all I think it’s a great addition to Jefferson which sorely lacks good food.”

“I have been here twice now. Love dining Local when I visit my mom in Fort Atkinson. Nice home town feel and both times I've been here, it was on a Friday night ...so of course I'm having a fish fry.. amazing portion sizes! I had the perch, my mom had the cod. So delicious!! “I had taken my beautiful girlfriend there with our daughters this past saturday night, for a surprising dinner where i proposed to her. We had the exact same table as the first time we went together on our first date. “Good food. Reasonable pricing. We arrived 20 minutes prior this cafe closing at 2 pm and they still served us without making us feel rushed. I had the Jefferson burger with sweet potato fries which was very good, even though I was not asked him I wanted my burger cooked. My partner ordered an omelette and fries potatoes and said the omelette was excellent. The service was friendly and the entire bill with drinks was only $17. The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating is for their early 2 pm closing which we understand was a recent change as of the past few weeks.”

“Excellent banquet venue! I attended a group dinner for 100 people, and it was a very nice site. We had a wonderful view of the golf course, great service, and some of the best food I've ever had for a large group. The banquet setting is separate from the main restaurant, and both appeared to be quite new. The restrooms were beautiful. (Note: I didn't enter the main restaurant but I imagine it would be just as good.)”
