“Cortese’s Banquet Hall is a nice large space for an event. My work has held luncheon parties there annually for the last 4 years. We have about 150 people, but I believe the room can hold more than that. There is a good size parking lot and there is a handicap ramp at the hall entrance. The hall is very clean as are the bathrooms. The food is freshly made and very good. Our guests are always pleased with our event when we go there.”

But if you want EXCELLENT fresh generously portioned Sushi, friendly staff and owners...this is where you want to be!!! I usually get the regular sashimi and Squid salad (always ask for the fish egg garnish.....AMAZING!!!!). My husband usually gets a couple rolls and squid salad. Soon and her husband Bob always go to the tables to welcome you and make sure your visit is a good experience. If it's your birthday...make sure you make it known. Soon makes a homemade fish cake. Not what you expect with s name like "fish cake"... it is masterfully made by Soon for her birthday guests and is absolutely delicious!!!! “There's no better drive-in burger place around, and anyone visiting the city during their open season should seriously consider pulling in for a bite. The food here is extremely affordable, so it's easy to fill up in a single trip. I love coming with friends on good weather days and just relaxing in the car with the windows down. It's definitely not the place to go if you're looking for something healthy or bizarre- it's got your basic burgers, fries, and chicken, with a few other options such as jalepeño poppers, steak sandwiches, and cheese sticks. But what they do, they do well. Sometimes the wait is long when it's really busy, but my most recent trip was surprisingly zippy. I've waited over 20 minutes for food here before- but it's always worth it. They have a window where you can walk up and order too, as well as a few tables to sit down outside. Credit card users, be warned: it's cash only here.”

“The food here is excellent, not authentic Mexican but very flavorful nonetheless. The wait times can be a little frustrating but if you have the time it can be worth the wait. We were once seated next to the bathroom and I recommend not letting the hostess seat you there. Every time a server, bus boy or patron passed by our table they bumped it. That quickly ruined the mood of the night and some drunk patrons at the bar who were sloppily and obnoxiously spilling their drinks. If you can avoid being seated in that corner of the restaurant, I highly recommend it.”

“I was there as part of a fairly large group, however, myself and one other sat a bit separately at a middle table. We were greeted upon arrival and served drinks. I was glad I did not drink my drink straight down because I never was asked if I would like another drop of any beverage. In fact, the wait staff seemed to know people at one of the tables and they spent considerable time chatting with them. Dishes weren't cleared until people were having coffee. My companion and I not desiring to sit among dirty dishes and having seen a bus cart took our own empty dishes to it. When we left the wait staff was not to be seen. The food was quite good. The Italian Wedding Soup had a red broth. The salad bar had many slop overs which discouraged interest. The main entrees of chicken and ribs looked good. We both tried the ribs, they were flavorful and extremely tender. We had mashed potatoes,mine with gravy, did you know they (when real potatoes) can be done up as baked potatoes? The deserts were either served with an extremely large spoon or no serving utensil at all. The cakes seemed to be the same recipe one yellow, one chocolate. There was peach "cobbler", something resembling a partial cream puff with strawberry that had sat too long, there was strawberry cheesecake that was actually good, and there were cookies. Some of the cookies appeared to have been purposely made flat.”
