Syrs Restaurant and Lounge

Address: 9316 W Appleton Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53225, USA

Restaurant

“Decided to give this place a visit after riding by all the time and a few people recommended and I’m glad I did. I went around happy hour in the middle of the week so it was more laid back of course. Cookie was our waitress, thank you for your great service, patience and recommendations. I ordered the jerk pasta, a Starburst and Lemon drop martini and would definitely recommend them. I would come back. Here are a few pointers so that you’re prepared: 1. After 9, it’s 25+. I’m not sure if there’s a cover or not after. 2. There’s a 18% gratuity added( this is stated on the website/menu). 3. There’s a fee for using your card so I would recommend bringing cash.”

Restaurant Cafe

“Newly opened Cafe. Card payments only per the sign on the door. The person I spoke with said they open next week. They have the cafe front with a bunch of drink options, indoor seating to the corner and outdoor seating available that extends around the corner. They have milkshakes, fresh juice, Gelato and premium chocolates. They have plans to do salads and sandwiches in the the future. I look forward to trying their food further and updating the review. They have a valentine's deal going on - go support local business and get a rose while supplies lasts.”

Hot Dish Pantry

Address: 4125 S Howell Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53207, USA

Restaurant

“I don't like to leave negative comments, and while the burgers were very good, all the apps we ordered had a hard fry on them. The potato croquettes should be soft and fluffy (as it is described on the menu) in the middle, but these were completely hard all the way through. The Saag Paneer dip was very good, but again, the chips were far too over fried. We got two house smash burgers, one plain smash burger, and one fried bologna sandwich. No complaints with them. I did not complain to the staff about the apps being over fried, and that was my mistake.”

Vape City Tobacco In Greenfield

Address: 4969 S 27th St, Greenfield, WI 53221, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant

“Brian was amazing, this store has so many options for vapes among other various smoking things, and a ridiculous amount of different exotic candy, snacks and drinks. This place is clean and inviting, even if you are not a smoker. Stop in for some snacks, it's worth it. Also the colorful lights give it just a vibe. Truthfully one of my favorite stores. 💜”

Taco John's

Address: 6749 W Greenfield Ave, West Allis, WI 53214, USA

Restaurant

“Brand new TJ. Nice and clean.... Except bathroom should be checked more often. Person at the counter was very helpful with a recommendation and with finding a money saving combo. Burrito - major disappointment, where was the chicken, where was the seasoning?”

Thai Orchid Bar and Grill

Address: 1606 S 84th St, West Allis, WI 53214, USA

Restaurant

“The review should be about 3.5 stars, but you can't do that unfortunately. It's a very nice place inside. The food came out pretty fast and was hot and fresh. We had the shrimp tempura for an appetizer, then had the papaya salad, Drunken noodles, and Pad Thai for the entrees. Portion sizes are generous and priced accordingly. The drunken noodles were definitely the better of the two options we choose for entrees. The papaya salad and Pad Thai both lacked flavor compared to other Thai restaurants I have been to. I will go back to try the Pho and a few other items and hopefully have better results flavor wise.”

State Fair Inn

Address: 8101 W Greenfield Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53214, USA

Restaurant

“I absolutely love the Friday Fish Fry here; large variety and every dish is spectacular. However, this is the second time I’ve called ahead to make “reservations” and was told over the phone “we won’t be busy” and in spite of my wanting to reserve, it was not taken. Got to the establishment to be told “one hour wait”. Either take reservations and stick to them, or don’t and post “serviced in order arrived”.”

Melt n Dip

Address: 7820 W Layton Ave, Greenfield, WI 53220, USA

Restaurant

“The guy/cashier was kind of rude. But everything else was good. I love that they have other options than chocolate. They have a lot of options for fruit lovers!! The place was clean. And they brought out our food pretty quickly. I ordered a #5, I forgot what that was, but next time, I will order one of theirs fruit bowls or smoothie, too much chocolate for me.”

Romero’s Restaurant and Bar

Address: 4171 S 76th St, Greenfield, WI 53220, USA

Restaurant

“Romero's is cute little place, bright and roomy. For being that small, it was incredibly loud. Not full of people so it was curious how loud it was. Made it difficult to converse without being loud ourselves in order to hear each other. Could be because everything is hard surfaces so there is nothing to absorb sound. It wasn't a cold atmosphere by any means, felt welcoming, but when it's all hard surfaces, sound just bounces around. On to the positives. Our server was wonderful. Attended to our needs, made suggestions when people were unsure and asked advice. Very cheerful. Took great care of us. The food is just delicious. We had a variety of items ordered in our group. I saw various kinds of tacos, some enchiladas, I think one person got chimichangas; one did a la carte, while the others did dinners. I put together my own combo of a Ground Beef Tostada, Birria Burrito, and Mexican Corn. The tostada was square which is a presentation I had never seen before. It made it SO much easier to eat. It was very tasty, fully enjoyed. The Mexican corn is just wonderful. Perfectly spicy without distroying your tastebuds for anything else. I had a bite of my burrito when I got home because I had to at least try it before writing my review. As with the other items it was just delicious. And it is huge. In true form I wanted to try more items than I could eat in one sitting. The burrito and bowl of corn are such large portions that I actually have lunch for the next TWO days. Perfect. And prices are quite reasonable. In addition, we all had various types and flavors of margaritas and we all thought they were very good. Large glasses. Two handed for me so I didn't pull a typical move and tip it into my lap. Very enjoyable evening! I do want to mention that menu on the website is for their West Allis taco truck. The restaurant menu is more extensive”

Sushi Yuki

Address: 2349 S Kinnickinnic Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53207, USA

Restaurant

“I had an excellent dinner at Sushi Yuki's soft opening tonight. The restaurant has been beautifully renovated, the staff is friendly and capable, and the food was delicious. My partner and I shared the beef bulgogi, chicken "nuggets", and 3 sushi rolls. Everything from the salad (AMAZING dressing) to the entrees was carefully made and really delicious. Can't wait to go back after their grand opening!”

KT'S WOK

Restaurant

“If you get a chance to visit Brookfield's Farmers Market, check out KT's Wok food truck. The food is amazing. Great Asian food, a little bit of everything. Thai, Vietnamese, and Hmong cuisine. "Phenomenal" worth every penny, not too pricey. Get your eat on at KT's Wok. "Taste So Good It'll Make Your Tongue Slap Your Brains Out. That's something my dad used to say when food was good. I intend on trying everything on the menu. Great job, and please keep it up.😋🍽 Since my last post. I have achieved my goal of trying every item on the menu. I can't choose which one I like the most they're all so good. I'm posting on 2 new items that I tried. Loaded Pho-tato and the sesame balls. Great new additions, please try them if you get a chance. Love the food. Keep cooking.”

Mexiboricua Restaurant

Address: 8015 N 76th St, Milwaukee, WI 53223, USA

Restaurant

“AMAZING!! We forgot to take photos because we were so excited to eat. From the second we walked in, Orlando (2”we know his name because by the end of our experience he had shaken our hands twice after introducing himself) immediately greeted us, and began telling us about all of the specials he had going, and the different types of meats and selections we could choose from. You could obviously tell how PROUD he was, and how much care he put into his food, it was an entire experience throughout the whole process. We told him it was our first time and he even allowed us to try some of the empanadas free of charge simply because he wanted us to taste them (you bet we will absolutely be ordering them next time!!)… He continued to tell us all about what he does, and why. He also made sure we grabbed a business card that links to his YouTube where he shares some of his delicious recipes. We will absolutely make this a regular stop. Cannot say enough positive things about this place!”

Jerk 76 Jamaican Restaurant

Address: 6309 N 76th St, Milwaukee, WI 53218, USA

Restaurant

“Came here just to see what the hype was about. The customer service wasn’t that great! You have staff sitting at the bar drinking, laughing, and just not giving professional atmosphere at all. I got there at 6:30 PM and they were completely out of jerk chicken. I order brown stew and a side of plantain. The food was okay but wasn’t that good in my opinion. For plantain to be $4.50 these were absolutely disgusting. They were soggy, wet, and oily af. They were stingy with the serving size. The chicken was slightly dry and over cooked but the rice and cabbage was the only thing I ate off the plate. I will not takeout from here again.”

Heirloom MKE

Address: 2378 S Howell Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53207, USA

Restaurant

“Had a wonderful experience dining for lunch! The bartender and servers were very kind and knowledgeable. Amazing craft cocktails and the quality of food was perfection. Service was a little bit slow, but could have been additional tables outside that I couldn’t see. Overall fantastic experience and can’t wait to go back for dinner!”
