This place is a hoot. Big deal for farmall Mequon I suppose but the whole thing is a fake. I grew up in Mequon, this lot used to be a police station. Across the street, a school bus "depot". What's that big rusty gear supposed to represent? Somehow locals decided to recreate a weak Monterrey Bay-ish Cannery Row style knock off. The food was fine at St. Paul, the crab cakes actually really good. Though the area is such a joke. More appropriate would be a mega Dairy Queen. (I think they're hoping to snag some millionaire that stumbles in, saying, "oh isn't this nice, I didn't know Wisconsin had such a history..." Well, it didn't or doesn't, they just made it up for you.)
So many great restaurants to choose from inside! Parking is always easy to find and it's located right next to a bike/walking trail too. Indoor and outdoor seating available.
When I work in the area I have to stop for their oyster on the half shell or class on the half shell and a glass of wine. Then take home some fresh seafood lobster claws, etc
Pizza Man is amazing. Lots of safety conscious workers for our pick up order. Delicious pizza, too!
I like coming here for a quick bite. They have most things (Asian, Mexican, Italian, and so on...). Prices are fair for Mequon. Most of the stalled are occupied and it's encouraging to see this despite the pandemic. We dined at Screaming Tuna or the place just left to it. Pizza Man is good too.
