“We had a great time at Niche Cafe in Lake Geneva Wisconsin. I love the idea of being able to self-serve a 2 oz 4 oz or 6 oz pour of any of the specialty wines curated for us by the owner Tracey. On the night we were there they had a great selection of French wines as well as a few California blends and plenty to choose from in whites reds and blends. I also appreciate that they had some specialty whiskeys and bourbons to choose from in the same idea of machine-pouring a measured amount. This is a great way to get to choose from many different types of wines and spirits. We also appreciate there are snacks and pastries to order. The decor in the cafe is modern and sleek and clean. We can't wait to come back in warmer weather to be able to sit out on their patio.”

“I am excited this place is open! The remodel is nice and certainly a very different vibe, more upscale and caters to a different audience. We had breakfast , a breakfast egg sausage sandwich and the frittata. Both were very tasty. The menu is still evolving and we are excited to see what gets added. Nice variety of beverages to buy in fridge and salads looked fresh. The biggest gap I see is lack of basic groceries which was the best part of the prior establishment and probably the one of primary reasons we headed there (breakfast being the other). We paid premium for milk, butter eggs and sugar, and we were happy to pay for the convenience when we woke up and found we were missing essentials and did not want to go all the way to a grocery store in Walworth or rte50. The general area is very residential and I would assume we are not the only ones. Not sure you will find me seated at the couch by the fireplace, though it adds a nice aesthetic touch, but let's see. Instead of multiple shelf's of random gifts and candles, simple household items might be better suited for this area. In any case I am hopeful this place makes it and gets a lot of foot traffic. We will continue to frequent here and see how this evolves and what else gets added to the menu.”

“Great, little, cozy location in Downtown Lake Geneva. The one person running the front was doing a great job balancing between all guests. Chef had standards, and it showed in the delicious food. The Boars Head Pepperoni and Cheese pizza was seasoned perfectly. The Chicken Wing Dish was good as well. The only issue would be that the portions are slightly small for the price.”

The other reviews about slow service are because this location is understaffed most of the time but if you look at the baristas, you’ll see that none of them are ever standing around and constantly working very hard. “This is a great location with a fun layout. Here on the first opening morning, the place is already in great operating condition, the staff expertly trained, the music at the appropriate level. Many of the staff hail from the Main Street location, so we are in capable hands. There is now a Starbucks within easy reach of Highway 12. I'll be back daily. I got a sample of the new Cold Nitro drink, so I'm wired to take on the day!”

“Went in around noon on a Saturday. It was busy. Wait staff kept tables clean. The service was exceptional. Brought our drinks immediately and patient while we perused their very extensive menu. Drinks were refilled multiple times. There isn't a breakfast item you would like missing from this menu. My friend had the 2X2X2, 2 eggs (she chose scrambled), 2 slices of crisp bacon and 2 pancakes. It was good except she thought the eggs tasted fake. I had the chicken breast and 2 eggs over easy. Eggs were cooked perfectly but the chicken was overcooked. I will go back. My choice was not normal breakfast fare and while they lost a star on the couple of things, everything else makes me think it could be 5 star with different choices.”
