“My first time while to visit this place. I usually fill up gas in Delevan prior to crossing the boarder in to Illinois. Both interior and exterior were clean. This included the bathrooms. Also conscientious of having a one of the best gas prices per gallon in town. I'll come back again when traveling in the area again.”

“Okay this is a delight. Imagine our surprise that an authentic Indian restaurant was open in Delavan! In the old Hernandez - the food is incredible. Great portions. Tons of flavor. Real tandoori!! “This location is fantastic. Came by for the first time and it was great. Not only was the staff super friendly but so is the management team. I can’t really tell who runs the store or the shift as all of them carry themselves very well. I actually came to write a review solely based on witnessing a team member accommodate a woman in a wheel chair. The line was quite long yet this girl came out and took their order as she wouldn’t fit in the line. It was awesome to see. Very attentive staff.”

“My boyfriend and I went here for our one year anniversary. He had the tomato pesto rigatoni, was phenomenal, our favorite dish. I had the wagyu burger, it was an average burger it was good but nothing special, the fries were basic. The service was outstanding Brenda our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She gave us a dessert on the house for our anniversary ! We’ll definitely come back here!”

“We had a great time at Niche Cafe in Lake Geneva Wisconsin. I love the idea of being able to self-serve a 2 oz 4 oz or 6 oz pour of any of the specialty wines curated for us by the owner Tracey. On the night we were there they had a great selection of French wines as well as a few California blends and plenty to choose from in whites reds and blends. I also appreciate that they had some specialty whiskeys and bourbons to choose from in the same idea of machine-pouring a measured amount. This is a great way to get to choose from many different types of wines and spirits. We also appreciate there are snacks and pastries to order. The decor in the cafe is modern and sleek and clean. We can't wait to come back in warmer weather to be able to sit out on their patio.”

“My huge thanks to the guys who operate the taco counter inside the station. I had a dangerously leaking tire and I was 80 miles from where I needed to be. I'm embarrassed to say that I don't know how to put air in tires, so I went in and asked for help. The store attendant couldn't help, but the taco guys came to the rescue! Went above and beyond and wouldn't accept any money. And it was my 67th birthday, so they made my day!”

“We had dinner Sunday night and wow! We ordered artichoke dip, a family size salad, and 3 pizzas for 8 if us. The food was fresh, flavorful and delicious! Go, you won’t be disappointed. We shared family salad with 5 adults and even took some home. We had so much pizza; enough to have leftovers for 4 families. We were well taken care of. An awesome first visit for us, 2 other families had been there before.”

“I am excited this place is open! The remodel is nice and certainly a very different vibe, more upscale and caters to a different audience. We had breakfast , a breakfast egg sausage sandwich and the frittata. Both were very tasty. The menu is still evolving and we are excited to see what gets added. Nice variety of beverages to buy in fridge and salads looked fresh. The biggest gap I see is lack of basic groceries which was the best part of the prior establishment and probably the one of primary reasons we headed there (breakfast being the other). We paid premium for milk, butter eggs and sugar, and we were happy to pay for the convenience when we woke up and found we were missing essentials and did not want to go all the way to a grocery store in Walworth or rte50. The general area is very residential and I would assume we are not the only ones. Not sure you will find me seated at the couch by the fireplace, though it adds a nice aesthetic touch, but let's see. Instead of multiple shelf's of random gifts and candles, simple household items might be better suited for this area. In any case I am hopeful this place makes it and gets a lot of foot traffic. We will continue to frequent here and see how this evolves and what else gets added to the menu.”

“Great, little, cozy location in Downtown Lake Geneva. The one person running the front was doing a great job balancing between all guests. Chef had standards, and it showed in the delicious food. The Boars Head Pepperoni and Cheese pizza was seasoned perfectly. The Chicken Wing Dish was good as well. The only issue would be that the portions are slightly small for the price.”

“Finding my route to a nearby meeting, I spotted pies on google maps. Pie being one of my favorite food groups, I had to check it out. I called ahead to make sure a pie would be available when my meeting finished. The same friendly person who took my call handed over the chicken pot pie for a reasonable price. After about 40 minutes in the oven, the family enjoyed a “homemade” pie. Even the chicken hater thought it was good. They seem to have a good variety of pies frozen, selected chilled pies for reheat, and order ahead for a hot ready to eat pie. Next time I am in town I will be back for more.”

“Went for their fish fry. Service is very good. The server was very attentive and the food came out timely even though it was a full house with a lot of large tables. Good bartenders, also. The fish fry was great. The prices are only a few dollars more than other places, but the amount of food you got was worth it. We tried the blue gill and the perch. They were the biggest pieces of those types of fish I've seen. More than enough for us. Fish was good, not greasy at all. The German potato salad that comes out with the bread is awesome. I could have eaten twice as much. The potato pancakes (2 large ones) I got had a very good flavor; could have been a little crispier, but I still liked them. My husband's baked potato was huge. Good coleslaw and tartar sauce. They were even having a special where you got a ticket for a buy one, get one free drink at the bar after your dinner. I will be back to try the haddock dinner.”
