“We have visited the CM Ranch several summers. While we enjoy family trips to other great places around the country, this is one place we feel drawn to for repeat vacations. The ranch setting is beautiful in a peaceful valley surrounded by wilderness and miles of high altitude desert views. The log cabins are quaint, authentic, and now almost 100 years old. We feel as though we are at our “home away from home” with the great hospitality from the staff and managers Molly and Hunter. Our favorite part of the day is enjoying family time on the porch, listening to the nearby stream, relaxing after spending the day on horseback in the Western landscape.”

“What an amazing dining experience! We went to Sunday Brunch, the food was delicious! The atmosphere top notch! But the service was over the top. The owner came over to our table to greet us, as did the chef who gave the recipe of her red pepper chutney to my son who loved it! The wait staff was friendly and attentive. They had baby goats we could see hopping on the rock outcropping across the way, out the expansive and beautiful windows. So cute! The butter had a dab of honey comb and fresh, edible flowers on top for the muffin. The bacon was exquisite! YUM! Real maple syrup with the delicious french toast with fresh fruit. We will definitely be back! 😉 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five Stars all the way!”

“We would 100% recommend the horse riding trip. We had such a good time. Creed and his staff are great and accommodating. The ride was easy and fun. The views are breathtaking. The drive from JH is not too long and it was good to get out of town and see more of Wyoming. Definitely worth the trip.”

“Great customer service with a dog friendly outdoor seating area. Drive thru option as well though the parking lot is a tight squeeze so RV’ers I’d park off the main road and walk on in. Burger was DELICIOUS, fry’s were cooked just right. Kids ate every bite of their food, that tells you something! Must taste good and just like a home cooked meal. 10/10 would stop here again and eat when in the area.”

“Fried Avocado and the Mountain Man. The potato salad is to die for! Time for a nap! Great place for the local feel and some great eats. Worth the drive out of the way.”

“Y’all don’t even understand how great this barbecue is. The brisket is smoked to perfection, the fries, Mac and cheese, and corn muffins are incredible. You can cut the brisket with a plastic fork. That’s WILD. Also, the huckleberry margarita and the strawberry rhubarb fried pie will make any bad day 1000x better. The staff and owners are incredibly kind and thoughtful. Truly a wonderful place to grab lunch and hang out!”

“We came here for lunch because we were hungry and wanted burgers and fries. The food was okay, and the atmosphere was typical and nice. The decoration is old and fits the atmosphere. The service could be better. We waited almost 30 minutes before we could order and another 20 minutes for the food, but it was okay. However, the waiting times were very long because the place was full.”

“The bone marrow appetizer was fantastic. Don't be scared to try it. I ordered a burger medium, but it came closer to rare. It still tasted good. The service was excellent. The servers worked together which ensured we never waited long for refills and the check. The french fries are a hybrid between a potato chip and a french fry... imagine a really thin french fry. Everyone loved the fries. I felt a little uneasy with all the taxidermy looming directly over the table.”

“Amazing mushroom soup, yummy breakfast burrito, fresh salad and kind service. Don’t miss the quiche. Great local find with fresh made food. I have to give another shout out to that mushroom soup - it was perfection, savory and not too heavy. This is an owner and her team in harmony and serving up delicioso! Lovely local vibe.”

“We love the owners of “The V Cafe’”. Everything is made to order from scratch with fresh ingredients. You can taste the love. 😊 It is located in the VFW. This is a smoke-free environment and you don’t have to be a VFW member. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Drinks at the VFW typically range from $2.50-$3.50 depending on the time of day. Nice place to meet the locals while having amazing food and cheap drinks. 😊”

“The bathroom is a little tiny and only one sink for the two stalls so if it’s busy you may be waiting. This place has alcoholic slushies though which is amazing! If only we weren’t driving. You can find some fun souvenirs and grab and go options for food.”

“recently had the pleasure of stopping by the Atlantic City Mercantile for lunch, and I must say, I was absolutely captivated by the Wyoming rustic atmosphere that greeted me. As I entered, I couldn't help but feel like I had stepped into a high-end museum rather than a restaurant. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, happily sharing historic information about the area and informing me that this year marked the 130th anniversary of the establishment. The bar area was a true gem, reminiscent of a bygone era with its transport from a burlesque in Hudson Wyoming. It added an extra touch of charm and authenticity to the overall experience. The lunch menu was refreshingly simple, focusing mainly on hamburgers and appetizers. While some may argue for an extensive menu, the Atlantic City Mercantile proves the adage that if you do one thing a day and do it well, it's worth it. And boy, do they do it well! I can confidently say that the burger I enjoyed there was one of the best I have ever had. If you plan to visit for dinner, I highly recommend making a reservation in advance. The Atlantic City Mercantile is well-known for their exquisite steaks, cooked right in the dining area over an open aspen fire. The aroma alone is enough to whet your appetite and leave you craving for more. In conclusion, the Atlantic City Mercantile is an absolute must-stop if you find yourself in the area. From the captivating Wyoming rustic atmosphere to the friendly and knowledgeable staff, every aspect of this establishment exudes charm and excellence. Whether you're craving a mouthwatering burger or a perfectly cooked steak, the Atlantic City Mercantile will leave you with a memorable dining experience that will keep you coming back for more.”

“Always love Maverik for a clean and lovely bathroom experience! This one only had two stalls and one sink but it was nice and clean. The other reviews are spot on about the limited food option, and I recommend heading over to the local bakery for lunch as they are tasty!”

“Beautiful scenery outside west hotel windows. Nice, clean rooms and friendly front desk check in ladies. The new bar is cool and Corey is an all-star! Doggface and Corey were the weekend highlights for sure. Corey was very friendly and did great managing everyone and abiding by drink limit rules. He makes a nice cocktail and the bar prices are lower than maybe anywhere.....ever..... Wish you could drink on the casino floor, but maybe thats something to consider in the future.”

“I took a youth group to the Silver Spur and they were very accommodating. The service was friendly and helpful. Some of the boys did get food from the cafe which they seemed to enjoy. The prices were very reasonable. They also enjoyed the arcade. We will return in the future.”

“It's a Taco Johns. I like taco bell better since it has power bowls, but both are meh anyways. It's fast food anyways so don't expect much. The street tacos were made decently though. The service was good and food came fast. Potato oles were nice and crunchy though a bit salty.”

“Stopped in while passing through town on a Monday night. Tim the bar manager took super good care of us. We walked in a little after they had shut off the grills but they fired them right back up for us which was amazing. Food was great, service was given to us as if we were family. Next time I’m in Wyoming I’ll definitely be coming back.”

“We were super excited to try out this Thai place while traveling through Lander based on the reviews. Sadly it did not meet expectations as the pad Thai was off. I posted a photo of the bland white noodles that were clumped together. We got it mild - but there was zero spice so I definitely recommend at least trying out medium if you want any flavor. The crispy cha-cha’s were a surprising delight which resulted in the 3 stars (otherwise it would have been a 2. The crispy spring rolls were also fairly standard and I loved the sauce that came with both appetizers. If this was the first time I tried pad Thai it would be my last which is a shame.”

“Out of town visitors and looking for great Mexican food....look no further! This place had it all. Service was amazing, food was delicious and the place was immaculate! Every single decoration on the wall was dust free, and even the fake plants were clean. We had a large group, and they were very accommodating. In fact, it was so good that we ate there TWO nights in a row out of the three we were in town. Looking forward to being in town next year so we can go again.”

“(Plant-Based reviewer) This place is so good! I had the miso salad and it was AMAZING! They also have vegan avocado toast and a veggie sandwich that looks really good. I finished with an oatmilk latte which was very good. Outdoor seating area is next to a beautiful small stream. Highly recommend this spot.”

“Love this place! Traveling between Buffalo & Jackson…..what a treat. The menu is superb & the brewery beer offerings are varied & offer a true beer lover a great selection to enjoy. I had the Rock Chock Rye, which was delicious. The Rainbow Trout was fantastic with the artichoke hearts, spinach, lemon herbed beurre Blanc & toasted hazelnuts was sublime to be sure! Cowfish would be a must stop every time I come through Lander in the future. 🙏”
