Joe's is a Chinese American establishment.. I had a well prepared and tasteful dish of Kung Pao Chicken... Plate was just right... Not too much... Not too little... Only had water to drink... “Small, quaint restaurant with western vibe. Our meals were great. Friendly and efficient staff. Traditional hot wings were our appetizer and we had the Sirloin, Broncho, & Santa Fe burgers with sides. They have a soup/salad bar and a dessert shop and are connected to a full service bar. Recommend stopping in for a meal when you're in Torrington.”

The staff were very friendly, the food was absolutely amazing (every single one of us finished our plates off!), the portions were large, and the homemade tortillas were spectacular! The open face roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes was prepared well and tasted amazing. The breaded pork sandwich was also exceptional. “From on top of the bluff two miles or so out of town, has a spectacular view of the valley and Torrington. The road to the top is unpaved. The interior is nicely decorated. The food was good and the service okay, but looked like they might have been shorthanded. The chicken taco salad with chipotle sauce and and the chopped steak with mushrooms and onions were good plates with large portions. It was a fairly good place to eat at.”

“This BBQ is amazing! Meat was pure perfection no matter if choosing the brisket, ribs, or pork. The cowboy beans were savory and had great texture without being too sweet. The coleslaw has a hint of spice that accompanies the savory flavor and you can appreciate the real flavor of the cabbage as the balance of flavors offer a hint of German seasonings at the finish. It will be a long winter waiting for the kitchen to reopen!”

“Quick service. Busy location from out of state travelers like us. There is a large dirt lot next to this location for those towing trailers and maybe big rigs. Tables were dirty when we are here. That was disappointing. Order was accurate and quick and mostly warm, not quite hot. This is a worthy stop if you are driving by on I-25 and need a fast bite to eat.”

There was a wall, but it wasn’t clear to the ceiling, and the snell and heat was coming over the wall. The need to replace ceiling tiles. It was a close walk from the campground where we were staying the night. Locals seem to like it.”

Just so down to earth, wanting to make sure all was good. You have to ask about the bean burrito on every plate, great story. Love, love , loved it!”
