“This is the place that my wife n I go for special occasions. There are only 2 places in Ottawa that are worth our Big Occasions Supply being one of them. The bread is amazing, oysters, kale salad, tuna, squid ink pasta. These are all amazing go too’s. All the food is fresh, well prepared, clean and service is good! “I have to say that this is the best brunch I have ever had in my life. Great ambience, very cozy and warm. They serve you an entire jar of coffee, not like usual brunch place. I was so happy that their sausage was not regular morning sausages. It was the best! Also ham was pretty amazing too. My bf ordered their make your own wrap thing, it was the best wrap I’ve ever had... We had to wait for a Monday noon, but it was worth it. In fact, it’s worth the 2 hours drive from Montreal to this place lol. It’s a bit pricey compared to other chains but it’s THE BEST!”

My wife is pregnant, and we ordered split, so they (without asking) split the portions for each of us onto plates so we wouldn't have to (my wife said most restaurants will charge you a split fee... “I love the food here so much that I went back three times in two days. I’m a huge fan of Southern cuisine and I’ve lived in the south for almost a decade and this is one of the few places in Canada that does it right. Generous portions and incredible food, the chef definitely has some creative and inspiring items on the menu. I love the wings here and they got me hooked to this place. I went back to try the buffalo chicken wrap, which was very good. My favorite was the Reuben Sandwich, they made it extremely well and I believe they have their own smoked meat. Montreal style. I highly recommend trying it. The portions are nice and generous, I really hate it when restaurants skimp on portions (especially when you consider the food mark up) . I hate it even more when supposedly southern restaurants skimp on portions, however, this place does it well and you definitely won’t leave hungry or dissatisfied. The service was nice and polite as well. I’ll be back and I highly recommend this place.”

“Came here for lunch and got one of their lunch special burgers. The lunch special is $11-$12 for a burger, pop, and fries, which is pretty decent, but the burger patty is half their normal size unless you pay to upgrade. Additionally, I guess we weren't told, but if you want like...usual toppings (onion, lettuce, tomato) you have to specifically ask for them. Onion rings were also an extra ~$2.50, which seems like a pretty steep upgrade price for onion rings. Overall, it was okay, but not anything that special. Probably won't bother going back.”

“Fuse Fest a nice time to try them! They had a purple $6 smoothie on special, and free sample mini cups. Also samples of their protein balls - I tried a blonde one with hemp that was pleasant. Normally their smoothies are $9. The purple one was vegan, with hemp, nut milk, banana and blueberry. I think, if I had taken a picture of the sign could have listed the ingredients accurately. But very refreshing. Usually I give 4* for tasty but 5* for exquisite. I would eat here again, and go for items that have my fave ingredients. Cheers to Fuse Fest!!”
