“We had our wedding last month and we bought a 2 layer cake from this place. We had a chocolate cake with caramel filling and the whole outside was icing and designed like a tree stump. It looked amazing and tasted even better. It was so moist and we had left overs for days after and it stayed fresh the whole time. They delivered perfectly on time at the venue as well. Highly recommend!”

“Ordered from Skip the Dishes and food arrived promptly and nice and hot. We ordered the dinner for three with a tofu dish, chicken dish and mixed vegetables. It also came with spring rolls and steamed rice, all of which were very good! It was nice to be able to put together your own combo of dishes rather than have to choose from a set list of combos. For the special request we asked for the vegetables to be VERY spicy and they delivered on that which was much appreciated! Will definitely order from here again and maybe stop in to the restaurant if we are in the area.”

“First impression was that I was not expecting the food to be good, because the sit-in/interior didn't look all that appealing. I went at a time that wouldn't be considered prime time. So I can't speak as to the popularity of the place. They seem to at least care as it was clean, and tidy. That's really the only downside. I had the Donair, and it was easily the best I've had. But that may be because I prefer a thicker sliced Donair, and alot of times, other places shave it too thin, and seems a bit too crispy. This Donair was very well cooked, and soft to chew and the thickness was perfect. Their garlic sauce was also very tasty. I'd say the ingredients are otherwise the same anywhere else. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're looking for local Donair.”

“The food is common Subway food, nothing out of the ordinary there. Where this little franchise succeeds is with their friendly staff. Most places the cashier will ask you "How are you?" and you know they're just asking because they are supposed to. Not here, they seem like they really do care about what you say. Always a friendly face behind the counter when I go in makes me keep coming back.”

“The first time I ate Mama Rosa Pizza was about a week ago, and before ordering it I decided to read the latest reviews. Honestly I didn't know what to expect because the reviews were very polarized. In the end, I ate one of the best pepperoni pizzas I've ever had and I've tried many places including St Louis, House of Goergie Sorento's, Gabriel's and Colonnade. I'm not saying Mama Rosa's is the best out of them all BUT it's definitely on the same level that's for sure. If you want delicious local pizza in Orleans, this is a solid bet. I went back for my second time earlier today, currently wolfing down the deliciousness.”
