“Delicious food..to be honest..I only went to DQ to try their new strawberry cake shake but when I ordered it I was told "the cake is still frozen so we cant make it for you". Why are you advertising it if you cant make it and there was no alternatives. I suggest you call them before going to make sure they have the cake. Overall great service and they provide fast service but I was kind of disappointed about the strawberry cake shake.”

“Very good meal, beautifully designed restaurant. Great service even on a Sunday. I found it a little odd though that their “Bite Burger” was just a plain burger. Very good none the less. I think a meal carrying the same name as the restaurant should be a flagship of sorts. Highly recommended!”

“It used to be great little pub with a fantastic menu, it wasn't a big menu but it was very good. Now it's more of a drinking bar for sports enthusiasts and leagues. Service was great, people were nice and friendly, just not our scene, and the menu now is no-hum not enough for me to open my wallet or return, but if you're a league, you'll have a great time.”

“My husband and I got married at Mill Street and we would highly recommend it to other couples looking for a wedding venue! We held everything at Mill Street, including our ceremony. The experience was top notch from the day we filled out a form online when we were browsing venues all the way to days after the event when we picked up decorations. Christine, the Sales & Event Manager at Mill Street, and our main contact there for our big day is friendly, attentive, diligent, knowledgeable and really just a great person to be in contact with leading up to a wedding. We exchanged numerous emails over the 9 months we spent planning the wedding and she was always quick to respond and super helpful. Mill Street is also a beautiful location for a wedding inside and out - the venue speaks for itself in a lot of ways so we kept decorations to a minimum and it looked beautiful. We dropped decorations off before the wedding and Christine and team worked their magic to set everything up just as we had asked. I also hadn't given any instructions about how to decorate during the ceremony and they used the decorations I provided to make the ceremony look amazing. This was great because then we were able to spend time with out of town guests rather than at the venue setting up. They also packed up all of our decorations up and allowed us to pick them up after the event. There are several options for menus for weddings and the food was very good - we got a lot of compliments on it. They are also very accommodating with allergies and preferences. The team at Mill Street on the day of the wedding were professional, diligent, friendly and were extremely helpful during the drop off and pick up of our things. We have nothing but amazing things to say about Mill Street and the people that work there! Thanks again to everyone at Mill Street who made our big day amazing and special shout out to Christine! “I have recently rediscovered KFC. perhaps it’s my imagination but the taste is lighter and fresher than I recall. Or it could be that the Bank street location I’ve visited is particular about the prep ? My guilty pleasure is the spicy chicken wings they make! Overall the chicken is tasty and fresh... IF you go at meal times. I had somewhat dry chicken also once so I always ask when the food was made. I’m not fond of the sides other than the fries, though I note many people love the coleslaw. It’s too sweet for me. Kids love the popcorn chicken and fries. Watch out for the calories. 5 wings are around 380 calories. Not bad if you eat a salad with it sandwiches are close to 500-600 calories. Some a bit more. The bucket is a good value if you are busy and don’t have time to cook.”

“Definitely deserving of a five star rating. For a first time, it was filling but not too heavy. Only accepts cash, but business like no tomorrow. More than just pies, items such as spinach pockets also available. Specializing in their pies, it will keep you coming back for more. One of the best parts other than the food is the price, as low as two dollars it gives best bang for your buck. Ordered the meat and cheese pie myself, but other options such as meat, spinach, cheese, cheese and veg.. something for everyone.”

They also have the best drinks Jarritos, I would recommend the lime flavour. I would just say please watch out with how long you grill the burritos. Last time I opened mine up and the pita bread was burnt and inedible.”

“I normally don't do reviews for fast food places, but the customer service at Thai Express at St-Laurent the last time I was there was phenomenal. They accidentally took one of my orders wrong. When we told them, they made us a brand new meal, let us keep the one they made wrong and also gave us a free water. Mistakes happen and that's okay, but they definitely made up for it. All three meals we ended up getting were great (as they always are!).”

“Was looking for a "last minute" Keto Birthday cake for out of town guests. Did a search and found Carb Free Cafe! The owner was Amazing, went above and beyond. When I explained I had two Type 1 Diabetic children she kindly offered to send me a list of her other treats and desserts! The Red Velvet cake we had was delicious. And knowing my boys could enjoy it without needing to take insulin...made it even more of a TREAT for them!”
