“If you're looking for an old fashioned ma and pa type restaurant, then this is the perfect place! The food is delicious and reasonably priced...a good bang for your buck. There's no shortage of tables as there's a back room too. The ladies that work there are long time staff and very friendly. Be prepared to go hungry as the servings are quite large and delicious!”

“I didn't have a reservation but I called them up to see if they could seat us. They told us to come over, managed to find a spot for us, and couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming. We loved the ambience, super cute place and really cozy decor. Loved the family atmosphere. The food was amazing, the charcuterie board is unreal, the service was fantastic. Absolutely loved our dining experience here, can't wait to come back and highly recommended to all.”

“Enjoyed our experience at Slickers. Lots of flavours to choose from, you can really taste the difference with small batch / home made ice cream. I had the "kids breakfast" flavour & "chocolate Skor" really enjoyed both flavours. Would come back to try the others. Definitely a place to go for ice cream when in Picton.”

“Delicious. Group had the pickerel, and the pecan chicken. I had the chicken & tasted the pickerel. The pecan chicken was super tasty and tender, the crust & sauce added flavour and texture without being overpowering or too rich. I wanted to eat it slow to savour it, but it was just too good, so i devoured it. The pickerel was to die for. While the pecan chicken was delicious, the small taste i had of the pickerel made me almost wish id ordered it instead. But the pecan chicken was good, so no regrets - just more reason to visit again.”

“Stopped at the Angry Bird for a quick bite to eat. The restaurant was very busy and the wait staff was hopping. They were all pleasant and cheerful. My husband had a beef sandwich which he thoroughly enjoyed. Especially since it is a chicken place. I had the rooster wrap. Very good. The food was quick and served hot. The fries were amazing. Great value for the money. Definitely be back!”

“Was quite busy when we arrived but the lady who served us was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. The winery is gorgeous and we enjoyed touring the grounds - however the wine just wasn't very good. We tried 5 different kinds and were not impressed (sulphur odour/taste, no body, etc.). Would probably not go back again.”

“Very picturesque and quaint restaurant in Prince Edward County. We came here for a family get together. We sat on their patio for some drinks, apps and lunch. The service was great, and the food was excellent! I had a steak sandwich. Everyone's food was exceptionally well-prepared, and delicious. The food was not priced to expensive, considering the quality. I would highly recommend this place to anyone reading this review. Very friendly staff and delicious food!”

“Great food! We had the trio of dips and the cheese plate. Everything was local or made in house and was fantastic. The apple chutney was incredible. So much flavour in simple dishes showcases the skills in the kitchen. Local great tasting beers on tap from the brewery just down the hill. We stopped by there after lunch to bring some home. Highly recommend this place. Less than a 5 minute drive from the ferry. The restaurant is in an historic house with lots if character and is very open and inviting, and there is a patio. Staff was friendly and would stop to talk and joke with us. A great experience and we will be back.”

“I’ve been visiting Probably nice Edward County for maybe 5 years now. My first experience was the Miller House Cafe. I enjoyed it very much but never did return again til now. It’s as excellent as the first time! It’s always busy it seems but we manage to get a seat on the patio. The views are fantastic and the food is superb. Excellent service too! Though I’m not a big beer drinker anymore I did have some the first time and it’s great! I will always return! ????☺️”
