“At first, I was a bit skeptical due to the cleanliness of the washrooms. However, after taking a look over the menu and speaking with the server about a couple of things she may suggest, this was seriously the most fantastic experience that I have ever had at a non-chain type restuarant. The food was truly unbelievable, the service was fantastic and the experience as a whole was one to remember for sure. 5 stars, hands down to this absolutely fantastic restaurant.”

“Everything I read about the Sandstone was true. The ambiance was warm and the staff welcoming. Barry was our server and he bent over backwards to make us happy. Now, I'm a fan of a good Caesar and they make their hot and spicy with HORSERADISH! Who would have thought. Brilliant! The food was perfect too. Denny raved about the Atlantic Salmon with Lobster cream sauce and I dug into the best New York I've had in years. Recommendations were well appreciated and I hope mine will let even more people experience one of the best restaurants in Niagara.”

We came here to try the poutine after reading the reviews online. Nikos absolutely lives up to its awesome reputation. I also had the double cheeseburger ( which was great) and the jumbo dog. The jumbo dog is a grilled quarter pound beef hot dog served on a toasted bun! Forget the falls, I’ll come back to Niagara for this place!!!!”

The service also couldn’t have been better, our waiter was very fast and friendly. The restaurant isn’t very welcoming on the outside, but inside the building the atmosphere was amazing. “I enjoyed this place so much. The burger was so well done, as well as the onion rings. The coffee is the tastiest and highest quality coffee I have had at a diner. I love the theme and the architecture, it is is very creative. The room is round and the seating arrangememt is pretty cool. There are some decorative lights inside as well. The staff are so friendly, generous, and have excellent customer service. The washroom are immaculate, and updated. Too bad I live in Toronto, or else I would come here often.”

“Absolutely LOVE firehouse subs! My boyfriend and I have been here a few times and each time has been equally great! The smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket is phenomenal and the new york steamer is just as good! Always huge portions of meat and is much more worth your money & time compared to other sub shops (subway, Mr sub). Definitely worth the 30 minute drive from Fort Erie! ALSO, they have high-C in their drink machine which is super exciting since I haven't had it in YEARS! A+++”

“For all from the Buffalo area, who miss their wonderful rotisserie chicken, this location in Canada is still the closest one to get your "fix!" Always known for their chicken and their ribs, they have updated their menu to include more contemporary items like parmesan fries (all fries are hand cut and perfectly crispy). However, service can be a little slow and the hostess tends to ignore you, even on a slow night when we just visited. The bathrooms could use a little more attention as well. When you crave it, you just gotta have it! We miss you in Buffalo...”
