“Okay, busy Saturday night, service is going to be slower, no biggie, I expect that. Although I saw our server make several single trips to tables and walk back inside (we were on the deck) empty handed. Again, not a huge deal, when we did get our drinks (a pint - $8 for a domestic!! - and a glass of Chardonnay, they were fine). The artichoke dip was okay, not bad but nothing better than any other I've had. The mussels (which is why we came) were flavourful and hot. My isue(s) was the fact that it came with three slices of baguette for about 1 litre of cream sauce (which was delicious) and when we asked for more, we eventually got four more slices (which we were billed for). Also, when we asked for a takeout container they didn't have anything that would hold a liquid (like a soup container for example). So $65 for a wine, two beers an order of mussels and an artichoke spinach dip.”

“We arrived by boat on August 17 2019 and walked into town. We booked a reservation for 8pm. We did our best to make it on time....... but we were late. They kept our reservation for us and put us close to the live music. The music was awesome and the atmosphere was great. The food was fantastic as well. We did order a cheese appetizer just to find out that they ran out of the cheese. No big deal we simply ordered the rice ball appetizer. This is the only reason for the 4 star rating. We had a great time and will return on our next visit to Port Dalhousie.”

“Went there for lunch. Perhaps the cool, clean modern look of the restaurant and the beautiful, inviting patio made the actual dining experience more disappointing by comparison. It began well. We were welcomed, promptly seated, given menus, a cold, pleasantly flavoured glass of water and a glass of wine shortly after. I ordered the corn tortillas with grilled fish offered on the menu but was told that only battered fish were available. I instead ordered the croquettes from the tapas menu and, to the credit of our server, was advised that it was unlikely to be sufficient as there were only three small croquettes so...I ordered the baguette with tomato, ham and cheese - assuming it would be grilled and that it would arrive at the same time as my fellow diner's dish. You know what they say about assumptions... it arrived quite a bit later and was cold...a cold baguette with cold tomato sauce over smoked ham and three rectangles of white cheese. The server assured me that this was the way the dishwasher served and, when I expressed my dissatisfaction with the dish, suggested that I order something different. Fair enough. He said he would be back in a minute to take my new order but he did not return for at least 10 minutes. By that time, it was too late to order another dish or to have my original ordet put under the broiler. On the plus side, the cheese on the baguette and the accompanying olives were delicious...and the food was served on very pretty dishes.”

“This was our 1st visit to this location. We had always gone to the Niagara Falls location and absolutely loved it. Now that we have a closer location we will definitely go more often. The atmosphere is very cozy and staff are awesome (Brooklyn especially). Steaks were cooked the way we ordered them and were juicy and tender. Love this place!”

“Their veggie burger is really good (new favourite) and it does taste like chicken. If you're strict vegan that doesn't eat food cooked in oil that had meat in it, I wouldn't suggest it as unfortunately it's cooked in the same fryer. The taco bell made vegan options are really good too, just make sure to specify as there is usually cheese or mayo on the burgers and tacos.”

“Id argue it isn't outstanding pizza, but its still good. I find that a lot of smaller pizza shops tend have much better food than their fast food contemporaries. I can say with a fair amount of confidence that I would reccomend buying pizza here. It depends on your taste in pizza too. I find that the pizzas at Qualia come across as somewhat less oily than other places. You'd have to try it at least once to know if you like their pizzas really.”

“The host gave me a great table for one--in neither a desolate corner, nor busy intersection. The server was personable, professional and genuinely interested in the quality of my dining experience. I was probably too hungry by the time I ordered, and selected a dish that was too meat-heavy for my tastes. When the server asked to wrap the dish up, I declined. She asked if there was something wrong with the meal. I explained that there was nothing wrong from a culinary point of view, I had only made a poor choice for my tastebuds. When she brought the bill back, she said the chef still insisted on removing the pasta from the tab. I honestly didn't think it was necessary, but really appreciated the kindness.of the gesture. I would definitely go back and order more carefully. The ambience is warm and welcoming, with soft lighting and music played at a relaxing volume. It has the comforting familiarity of a chain restaurant, without the cookie-cutter dishes and, often times, overwhelmed service staff.”

“Was visiting for a private family event, the service was excellent and the staff friendly and quick with refreshing peoples drinks and clearing plates. We were there on a night with the dinner buffet and found it to be excellent. There was a modest number of dishes out for selection, but everything available had quality to it, and there was even a chef to prepare custom pasta dishes with cooking stations at a table ready to go. Definitely would recommend for a nice family dinner out, and it can even be a nice date night spot. Check it out if you have a chance. ????”
