“Super friendly staff, originally came in for a burger but decided to get pizza instead. I love how the toppings are diced, but toppings should be in a larger quantity given the price. The marinara sauce also is a little thin and kind of lacks flavour. However it was still quite enjoyable, and the service was not only friendly but fast. The place was also very clean, and I would definitely come back if I was in the area. $20 for a large 3-topping so definitely on the expensive side. Update for owner: I ordered a custom pizza with onions, chicken and green pepper. I updated my review to 5 stars as replying to reviews on google shows that the owner cares and is looking to improve. A+”

“Tried this place for lunch. Had good selection of noodles with customizable noodle type options which was good. They also have other items on menu that were not noodles. Portion size was quite large so it was good value for the price. One star loss cos of the loud banging that kinda ruins the atmosphere a bit. My mom was jumping out of her seat each time they banged that dough. It authentic, but they may want to consider sound proofing or have insulation under that board so it isn't as loud.”

“I came here twice for dim sum with large groups, and the food was great. Everything was hot and fresh. They offer all the classic dim sum dishes as well as some more unique ones. We even tried the lobster e fu noodles since they kept persuading us, and I was not disappointed. The restaurant is a bit small and gets busy. I will definitely come back again.”

“Let me start by stating up front that I'm a sucker for deli's, and also for Mom&Pop type operations. In this regard, Smiley's has it hands down. Proprietors Andy and Joy made me feel welcome, and asked my name as I left. I had a club sandwich on fresh dark rye with an egg-drop soup, and both were as I wished them to be. While this is not rocket science, all the vegetables and ingredients were fresh, as was the bread, and while it is hard to break a club sandwich, there is much to like about this place. I'll be back.”

“As a previously loyal customer of F.O.D., I ordered 2 soups through F.O.D. today at 17:01PM. I had been waiting for the soups (just 2 desert soup) for 45 mins and it was still under "Preparing". Therefore I called the restaurant to check if something went wrong, the restaurant said that food was ready a LONG time ago, with no driver showed up to pick it up. lol, then I called F.O.D on 17:45PM and the agent confirmed to reach to their driver and got back to me over the phone in 5 mins. 17:51PM, still no response. Another call made by myself then - The driver will pick up the food in 3 mins. I questioned that the soup I ordered will be cold now as it has been almost ONE HOUR yet still not delivered. Agent said this very NICELY: " We are sorry but our policy is to deliver the food between 45 - 60 minutes." Yes, it was 17:52 or 53PM while we were talking over the phone and it was still within one hour. Okay. Now it's 18:02PM and I'm still waiting for the food to be delivered, good thing is that finally the order status is showing as "Delivering". LMAO, and there is NO WAY that you can do anything for a long-waiting time. I feel that I should not call them cauz it seems like my fault to push them. THANK YOU F.O.D. Driver!! “If I could give them 4.5 stars I would. Our bill worked out to $275 for the set menu for 4 people and we added a plate of pork dumplings. This meal ended up feeding 4.5 adults and 2 toddlers so price wise I would say it's fair for all the seafood you are getting and everything was very fresh. The reason I say 4.5 adults is because I myself started the evening out with a migraine and wasn't eating my usual quantities. I did however still feel satisfied after the few courses I did enjoy. The service was quite lovely actually, friendly and approachable which made it feel like you were having dinner at a friend's house. We had a reservation in one of the karaoke rooms which was nice for the little ones in case they became fidgety. The only reason for less than 5 star is that we were disappointed that there were no scallops and no sea bass. The scallops due to poor availability so the boss preferred not to purchase which I appreciate so as not to pay for subpar quality seafood, but no explanation for the bass. I suspect it was sold out.. it's a popular choice. All in all a great first experience and we intend to go again. I'd probably ask what the availability looks like for the scallops and sea bass when calling to book a table to ensure we get it the next time around.”

“Low key place for quality sushi. I have been here many times, and I've never been disappointed. I come here primarily for their rolls - very unique and quite tasty. Always ask for their 'picture book', pretty much a photo album of all the rolls - easier to decide on what rolls to get. Rolls are also huge. My husband and I usually split 3 rolls, and we are very full. Price is on the higher side (for a small low-key place) but you definitely get quality. Place is nice and clean, but not fancy. I would suggest this place for family meals, or work lunches/dinners as the place is not loud and good for conversation. Would not suggest it for celebrations as the atmosphere is very casual and not very aesthetic (which I why I have it 4 stars).”

“We have 4 people on a Saturday morning around 11am. The place has already filled up. Our table seemed like the last available. The place was decent (as a few months new restaurant should be) and not TOO fancy. Tables spacing are not too clamp as some Chinese joints. I think we ordered 9 dim sums which were all old time favorites, like har-gau, siu-mai, beef balls, rice noodle rolls etc. All fresh and delicious, classic presentation and not fancy as some so-called fine dining. Service was on par, not exceptional. Bathroom was okay to me, but not sure about during the top hours! It ended up 65+tips. So I would say it's on the pricey side for a light lunch and I didn't feel a lot in my stomach. There was a line up when we left, and the parking lot was packed. Lastly, I think I'm a little generous on the 4 stars. ;-)”

“A bit pricey, food is great when it's done right. Problem is, it's rarely done right. Because everything is down to whatever chef is cooking any given day, mixed with staff turnover, the consistency is downright terrible. This is fast food, and one of the hallmarks of fast food is that it is consistent because there are strict formulas. Unfortunately this chain of restaurants doesn't make the cooks follow any measuring of the ingredients or procedures that result in the final flavour (mainly the amount of sauce and cooking time), and the result is therefore always different. I really like the product but I've had to stop going because it's frustrating to win the food lottery on only about one of every ten visits.”
