“The setup of the place is nice. It is a nice building with a good atmosphere. The menu isn't very extensive and the food isn't very expensive but it isn't cheap either. They have both cans and draft available. Including one guest beer (in today's case it was Red Circle's raspberry sour, which was very nice). They were having these happy hour special prices on beer on the weekends starting at 3pm, what makes the already not expensive beer become even nicer priced (I'm not sure if it is always available or something seasonal). The kettle chips with onion dip were every nice, the dip was surprisingly light and fresh tasting. I didn't order the nacho chips because we weren't really hungry, but I saw some people ordering and they looked very good (and a large portion as well). The ice cream sandwich was delicious, two chocolate cookies with Waterloo dark and real vanilla ice cream in the middle. We ordered a couple special beers (beers not available on tap often) after having a flight, the chosen ones were the Raspberry Sour from Red Circle and a Salted Caramel Porter ,which we ended up getting a couple of cans in the bottle shop after. The experience ss a whole was nice and pleasant.”

“I've had a really hit and miss time with country Boy, over probably 12+ visits. Sometimes the eggs are cooked well, and sometimes they are cold/hard. My go to is the kw favourite, 3 eggs with polish sausage (which is good if you ask for it extra crispy, same with the potatoes) or bacon or sausage, and potatoes +toast. It's a great deal at 7.99. I always have to ask for my potatoes to be well done, as they often come out mushy. But I'm hopeful that with new management coming we will get more consistent food service at a higher quality. The fact you get coffee in a carafe is one of the main reasons I return, I wish more restaurants in kw did this.”

“This is a good place for large groups' events. I believe they can also take care of food and catering or at least nominate a good candidate for catering. The location is great as it is right on Manitou Drive in Kitchener, Ontario. One of the best things about it is the spacious parking lot that can be enough for many vehicles. The place is not new, so you should be all right with the old style to enjoy your time over there. They may also need to improve signage for a more convenient direction to those who visit the place for the first time. I would recommend it.”

“First time going and it was amazing great service wonderful food very busy but we still got seated quickly and the poutine there is the best I’ve ever had it had so much flavour and even a bit of spice. The burgers there are also very nice and it’s honestly very well priced, for a LOT of food it’s just under $100.00. Overall one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to.”

“Dropped in for a quick lunch with some business associates at The Museum. Nice to be able to sit outside - it's a small patio space right beside the sidewalk, but private enough. Service was friendly and helpful - offering advice and samples of the different beer on tap. I was impressed by the quality - fresh tasty sandwiches, and a flavourful soup for me. But I also think the prices are a bit steep for lunch. My reason for 4 stars. Options range from $17 - $26, and $6-$16 for a salad, protein extra.”

“The food is great, and I am a regular customer. My biggest issue is the lack of recycling (Duke St). You can't stuff the naked burrito containers in the recycling as it is bottle sized only. Everyone puts the container into the trash because there isn't another option. Please consider a paper/biodegradable container and ditch the foil wrappers.”
