“Like all the on campus food places it is really expensive but forced to buy here as I have a meal plan. Beware of the weigh your plate option as prices add up fast. I am from REV and it is worth the 5 minute walk as Mudies has much more options. CMH is a little bigger though. Food is decent, not terrible. If you are able to eat off campus, I would recommend it due to the really high prices.”

When dining in, the chilled mugs have a delightful change to the fast food take out cups you find everywhere else. “The interior design at this branch of Symposium Cafe is really nice and modern.The booths are super comfortable. The staff is friendly and service is fast. As you can see from the pictures their presentation is very aesthetically pleasing. Unfortunately the carrot cake I ordered tasted super disappointing. I make a carrot cake at home that is infinitely better. The cafe late was good, the black coffee was not good and tasted more like water than coffee. The waffle was nice but not amazing. Over all it was an average experience.”

“I have never been bothered enough to leave a review before, but my experience here today was annoying to say the least. I got a pita and while it was being wrapped, the employee had ripped the bread and acted as if she did not see it and continued. I did not say anything thinking it was not that bad, but when I checked in the car, the whole side of the pita was split open. I went back and they took what was in my pita and re-wrapped it and for some odd reason without asking me the employee put a whole handful of cheese in it where I already got that initially and did not need double. My pita literally only tasted like cheese, and when I began eating the new one it split open again completely. Even worse than the first one somehow. I've had pitas slightly rip before but not to the point where I can't eat it as everything is falling out. I think this employee requires further training, the bread may be stale or may be her wrapping, who knows, but the extra cheese was ridiculous. I gave 3 stars as I have never had a problem at this location before.”

“This Swiss Challet has evolved. When it opened the food and service was terrible! Now the food and service are among the best. The chicken was moist and tender. The fries were perfectly crisped. The buns were fresh and warmed! Overall a great meal! The location leaves a bit to be desired, but there is lots of free parking. Of the 4 local Swiss Chalet restaurants, this place is one of the best!”

“I was surprised at how well my kids liked the food at Montanas. We shared a big plate of pulled pork tacos and then the kids had a kids meal each (from the kids menu). Hubby had tacos and I had the lettuce wraps, we both had a beer AND we ordered dessert and the bill for 5 of us was under $80. That's impressive. We'll definitely be back.”
