They recently updated their website to a super user-friendly online ordering system, and they're so fast whether you get delivery or pick up. I have never had a bad experience with these folks and I eat here quite often. Olive Tree is in my Top 5 restaurants in Guelph - and it's takeout! It's seriously that good.”

“Delicious food. Inviting ambiance. Steak meal was wonderful. Lots of flavor. Perfectly cooked. Chicken tacos were filling and tasty - opted for spicy sauce on the side, which was a good move - when in doubt, control your distribution! Salad appetizer was fresh, and it wasn't overwhelmed by dressing or by garlic. Cornbread was a tad too sweet for my liking, probably because of the honey, luckily the garlic butter spread helped balance the flavour - adding salt made it yummy. Btw, they have course salt in the table. Classy. Decor was relaxed and enjoyable. Seats were comfy. One improvement would definitely be for them to change the lighting directly over tables. A bit harsh for evenings, IMO. Or at least change bulbs to warm white (not sure they were) or, better yet, hue lights on a warmer setting. We did spot a few tables without the bright lights so we will ask for those tables in future. Will definitely be back.”

“In Brantford to train at the fantastic hospital here. On-call and needed some dinner, so I headed over. Got red curry with chicken. Good flavours. I got at medium spicy which wasn't spicy enough, but definitely very flavorful. Good coconut flavor, not over-powering.Two best parts about the curry.”

“The cheesy bread is so good, and the garlic knots are warm and greasy. Perfect late night craving food. Also the employees are always nice to us! I live on the opposite side of town and still drive over for the sides. The pizza is good too, but I get the cheesy bread as my own personal sort of pizza!”

“Pizzas were awesome, great topping combinations and especially great crust. A note that some of the mains are quite expensive, but the pizza is more affordable option. I had a large pizza and was surprised how big it was! So a small is definitely sufficient for a single person. The drink options were nice, as well as the desserts. I had the toffee pudding which was very tasty! The live music was really amazing. Great service and a very cozy atmosphere! Would highly recommend for a date night. Will definitely be returning to repeat the wonderful experience! Looking forward to trying all the enticing menu options!!”

“Some months ago my personal restaurant spy alerted me to the presence of a new Italian restaurant, Bistro Barolo, in Rockwood; and, I knew we had to try it. Five of us enjoyed dining together on Saturday evening. Even though I’m not a fan of mussels, I chose the seafood linguine which was excellent - plenty of seafood in a full bodied but not overpowering sauce. My wife chose the cedar smoked salmon, which as it’s named indicated did have a wonderful cedar flavour. A most enjoyable evening. Minor complaint: our coffee-loving friends couldn’t have an espresso because the machine was broken. Hopefully it will be fixed when we next dine here.”

“Ambiance is nice. Not romantic--modern, clean and cool. Nachos and burgers are particularly good. Tried other things (pulled pork, salads) that aren't bad but IMO not worth their cost, which is on the high side. Service is always pleasant and attentive, except for a time when we asked for a kid's milk that ended up costing $5+ because they "didn't have a way to charge any less for milk despite being kid-sized". Suppose it's partly our fault for not recognizing the exact item on the menu (or lack thereof) but the outcome was a little too strange to be ignored for this review.”
